Great location, clean and well-appointed; would recommend.

Slight annoyance that the road it's on is small (hard to turn around) and no parking; but there was plenty of on-road parking nearby so it's not a significant issue. Would advise just parking on the road and walking, instead of trying to drive by to scope the front door!

Great location and really nice setting; beautiful walks right on the doorstep. Breakfast was tasty and arrangements were easy. It was very clean and staff were friendly, would stay again.

It is within walking distance of both the train station and the cathedral. We were also able to easily pick up the bus to Stonehenge which we enjoyed very much.

All very comfortable but the breakfast let it down. We had to choose what we wanted the night before. Understandable when busy but we were the only ones there. Consequently when my cooked breakfast came it had obviously been hanging around for awhile as bacon hard. My husband enjoyed his porridge but the bread very poorly toasted and had to go and remind her that we were still waiting for our hot tea/coffees.

The position as a lovely easy walk across the water meadows into Salisbury with views of the cathedral most of the way.

Nothing major but some of the fittings in the room were falling apart - top wood panel on headboard was loose as well as a tap and toilet paper holder in bathroom. Shower was a bit weak but ok

Friendly hosts, clean and tidy room, great location, lovely breakfast. Easy to walk to local restaurants and cathedral. On street parking outside or further up the road if you are unlucky

Didn’t sleep particularly well. The first bedroom was too small and the second time we stayed the curtain was so far from the window that the light came in really early so we couldn’t get back to sleep. On the second nights stay the bathroom fan and bathroom plug didn’t work nor did the bedside light - all these things are easily fixable

Good location by the river and on the town path into town. The place was very clean Good to have porridge as a breakfast option.

The parking is sometimes a little difficult and unfortunately this time we had quite a few cobwebs in our room and the curtains were coming down. The room was lovely but in places needed a little touch up as plaster had been chipped.

Always receive a warm welcome. Beds comfortable and clean. Ideal place for a short walk into town and cathedral

Unfortunately, the mattress was too firm and the bed creaked terribly with any movement, also, being over 6ft tall, having a bed with a footboard was not ideal, but all said, it was a nice a very good room. Overall it was a lovely place with a very cheerful and helpful Head housekeeper.

The whole ambience of the guest house and the location. The breakfast was.lovely.

Couldn’t really complain. A few minor details not worth mentioning.

Cosy room with plenty of tea/coffee facilities. Very pleasant breakfast served in a well presented breakfast room with plenty to choose from. Friendly staff and a great location for access to Salisbury centre. What more do you need ?

Not advised about accessing the property and learnt what was required from another resident. Therefore welcome needs improving. I believe I left a pair of sunglasses in the room. Telephoned and left a message to that effect 2 or 3 times but unfortunately nobody returned my call and there is no way to contact via email. Disappointed.

    Excellent location and super breakfast.

My friend is sensitive to the light and wished the curtains could have had more coverage, but they said this was still not a big deal for the overall quality. I wish I had planned better to find a place to store our suitcases before checkin or had thought to have asked the owners beforehand. The owners live nearby, but they weren't on the premises before checkin for this day. Not their fault; I just want others to be aware and plan accordingly because checkin was at 5pm.

Beautiful area. Not too far a walk from the train station. House and room was lovely and clean. Enjoyed the breakfast.

The description says 'free parking' but it's public parking for everyone that comes down there to enjoy the park and swim in the river. If you're not lucky enough to get a spot in front of the guest house, you have to park elsewhere, which is mostly just inconvenient

The location was great, breakfast was amazing & the people that run it are lovely. Would love to come and stay here again
