Needed to ask for a fan as windows don’t open well enough in bedrooms.

Everyone was friendly and it was very welcoming and warm.

The pub itself is simply gorgeous with an elegant, traditional, and very cosy atmosphere. It is enchanting and feels like a little haven of peace and is homey. All the staff is excellent at what they do, and very friendly. Special mention to Nathalie who gave us valuable tips to explore the region and took the time to chat with us. Richard at the restaurant was super welcoming and attentive, and Mandy made us feel at home from the start with her radiant smile. We will definitely come back !!! Thank you for everything !!

The shower temperature wasn't that warm, which wasn't a problem as we had good weather so only needed a cold shower!

It was a beautifully designed room, very clean, extremely comfortable bed, we had freshly baked cookies in the room too! We love Stow on the Wold and it was great to stay in such a nice pub and hotel. Would 100% stay again.

If you're looking to go out and have fun at night, the area is a bit quiet — not much to do and most places close by 10 PM. Still, it's a beautiful and charming place!

Super friendly staff, yummy breakfast, big room, and a comfy cozy bed. It was pretty hot and there was no AC, but luckily there was a nice breeze.

    Everything was fine.

Room 9 is separate from the others, up a twisting staircase with low beams. But it's wonderful when you get there.

Our room's bathroom was really small - had my husband or I been slightly bigger we would not have fit into the shower and toilet😳

The shower water wasn’t that hot which was a bit disappointing as our shower at home isn’t hot either so I always look forward to getting a nice hot shower in a hotel

We really loved our stay here. The cosy bedroom was gorgeous. Came with Nespresso coffee maker and home made cookies. The room was beautifully decorated and lovely comfy bed and nice bed linen. The en-suite was good too. The toiletries were very nice The facilities were lovely. We didn’t eat here as we had pre booked at clarksons pub. But the restaurant and menu looked incredible so when we visit again we will eat here We had drinks in the lobby, the snug and the bar. Drinks were reasonably priced and the bar man was excellent at making espresso martinis and bloody Mary’s We would definitely recommend

    Nothing I can think of.

The charm of this hotel is undeniable. Definitely the best hotel we've stayed in England. The atmosphere is lovely. We had the smallest room, yet each detail was thought through. Very Hobbit like! To add to that, the food in the restaurant was amazing and the staff were all incredibly professional.
