Downstairs room was lovely and spacious but upstairs one the area around one side of the bed was extremely tight

The breakfast and value for money

The staff were lovely and the location and views are stunning. I found the breakfast wasn’t great with some elements inedible though. I also expected a bit of a bigger or nicer room for the price I paid. Though staff were very flexible with us checking in early at 1pm which was great.

The breakfast, for the price was pretty poor.

The Moonraker hotel and surroundings were beautiful. The room was lovely, a few cobwebs, here and there. But that's expected. The lad on reception was pleasant enough

Accessibility was difficult for me as I have mobility problems and we were in the old part with steep stairs and low ceilings, we had booked late and I should have checked the room location beforehand…however, our room was lovely and full of character…. We would stay again but would definitely request a low floor room….

Couldn't get Cold Water from the tap, the Hot Water tap opened in the opposite way to all normal fittings.

Our room was quite adequate, lovely quaint feel to the room, reflecting the ancient history of the property.

In a heatwave, our room was very hot. There was a small fan and the staff kindly let us borrow a second larger one which we really appreciated. It's probably not an issue for most of the year.

Pretty house and garden, lovely staff and a great dinner. Our room was a little tired but it was very clean and it was a fair price - we weren't looking for luxe for this stay. We had a really good stay.

The staff at breakfast one day were not over helpful explaining where and how everything worked or overly attentive. There were no food slices or tongs for the pastures, cheeses and hams. Could do with other fruit. The Al a Carte menu could do with a varied choice on different days.

Unable to sign in to the wifi, no satellite channels on tv as described in the room info. Neither were a problem!

We got an upgraded room I think (6ft bed, sofa, large tv, shower & bath), good views, no noise, perfect continental breakfast, with real coffee from bean to cup machine, in nice restaurant area.

Rooms a little "dated". Communication issues via app, phone system and "generic" emails. Restaurant staff, whilst being very helpful, perhaps a bit more training might be worthwhile.

Booked 1 adult & 1 child yet the hotel put us in a bedroom next door to a function room that hosted a late night dinner. Tv screen in bedroom was smashed. Reported on check in but no offer to replace? Just told ‘ok l’ll report’. One poor woman Friday night working check in, bar, housekeeping, restaurant.

It did look a little aged and shabby in some places. The room was very light, so if you’re sensitive to light you might struggle to sleep. There were pelmets on the curtains but the window on the door wasn’t covered so let a lot of light in. The fire alarm went off in the early hours of the morning which wasn’t the hotels fault however not having a member of staff on site meant the guests had to instruct the fire brigade and call the out of hours emergency line to turn the alarm off.

Our room was lovely and spacious with a very comfortable bed. The water pressure was very good and in general the room was great value for money.
