For this level of a hotel there are some things I would expect that were missing like a minibar in the bedroom, or a smart TV.

Cute hotel in a beatiful location, staff was very polite and attentive to detail. Everything was very clean and in great condition. The outdoors of the hotel are just amazing.

The hotel has a michelin star restaurant, which looked fantastic, but it’s quite expensive for casual or family dining. It would have been nice to have more affordable choices either on-site or nearby.

We had a lovely stay! The room was spacious and very comfortable, perfect for relaxing. The bathroom was a real highlight — beautifully designed, with both a luxurious bathtub and a modern walk-in shower. We also enjoyed exploring the area around the hotel; it’s a charming village that’s great for peaceful walks and discovering local spots. Would definitely recommend!

Decor of the Dining area was not up to the rest of the hotel it looked outdated .Music did not blend with the rest .breakfast room for adjoining pets had a dinstictive smell .

Everything!! The location, the Manor House and the celebrity feeling. Everything was just out of a fairytale.. The service is prompt and the behaviour of the staff is very welcoming. We were upgraded to the luxe rooms which added to our excitement. The breakfast was a luxurious spread and the dinner at the Castle Inn and the Manor House Dining was superb. The room amenities and facilities are worth mentioning. The bathroom floor was kept heated at all times and the bath products were amazing.

The Manor House is a BEAUTIFUL hotel. The rooms were very comfortable and the common areas were also very pretty. We had some drinks in the bar area and the staff there were brilliant, made us feel very special and welcome. They even lit the fireplace! So accommodating! The amenities are exactly what you would expect from a hotel of this calibre, we were not disappointed.

An enchanting building, I felt like I was in Hogwarts and Bridgerton at the same time! Beautiful, historic decor with tons of places to relax on the ground floor incl roaring fireplaces and a pool table, and upstairs in our room a four-poster bed and heated floor in the bathroom. There were dressing gowns and even the hairdryer was fab (a Dyson). The breakfast was pricey but you can order multiple dishes from the hot menu and help yourself to the continental, and the food was delicious, so worth it. The whole team were friendly and helpful. Lovely gardens outside, walks in the woods, and the village itself was so picturesque that we felt we were on a film set (the movie Stardust was shot here, amongst other things).

There is absolutely nothing that we did not like during our stay. This is an exceptional and wonderful manor house with exceptional and wonderful staff!

This is one of the most beautiful and classic hotels in all of England. The rooms, whether you are in the main manor house or in the adjacent medieval cottages are impeccably maintained, beautifully appointed, just gorgeous inside and outside and comfortably outfitted. The staff at this hotel are outstanding! They make every effort to make your stay as pleasant and comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Have stayed here many times over the years and have never been disappointed. We can't wait to return! And there are several staff in particular, Laura at the front desk who could not have been more helpful and welcoming. And other workers like the bar manager Alex and other employees like Owen and Emily who are equally as outstanding and make this just a wonderful experience.

There really wasn’t anything we did not like about the property. If there was a spa I would have never left.
