Had a personal issue but staff helped the communication was good

Left some property there which, when contacted, the hotel would not return and placed in storage. Despite me offering to pay for any courier fee etc.. I live 100 miles and 2hrs away! The room was also next to a boiler or plant room (only realised the morning after). The room was insanely hot.

The room was poorly ventilated and had a fusty smell and on what was a very hot day, no fans were available from reception but this was made worse by having the towel rail permanently on with no way to turn it down. The property itself looked more like a set of run down council flats than a hotel. When closing the curtain it began to fall off the other side of the rail and the bathroom door wouldn't close without a slam. If you are desperate for a place to sleep there's a bed and a bathroom but otherwise I'd look elsewhere.

The location is only a 5 minute drive from the city centre. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was decent but a bit basic (£8.50 per person did seem a bit on the expensive side). The staff all seemed friendly enough but nothing special.

I wouldnt stay here for more than 1 night. It was nice as I would like.

We need the room for a last min stay and the room was good for a shower and sleep for 1 night.

Very basic hotel, staff were friendly, the bar had no draft beers available. Rooms were very hot. Bed a little uncomfortable. Photos of the room are not like the website.

Nothing. Very old style .it need alot of repais .ironing board broken .electric fire sticking out .breakfast was not that good .water didn't drain in the bath .there was a smell coming ..

The room rate was not cheap cheap, I paid £79 for a night. It felt like a council apartment, no security, no room phone, no internet. Very depressing place to stay, did not feel like a hotel.

The only good thing was the bed and mattress. I have to say I did get some sleep. Car parking, there is a plenty of it. The location is not bad either.

The room bedsheets wasn't clean 😕 and there were hair particles on the bed and stains on the sheet and dust in the corners and around the toilet

Disappointed with the decor, facilities, bed and pillow Dust in certain areas of the bedroom and bed sheet had marks on it. One ceiling light not working above ironing board.

Bed was clean but room was untidy and the bathroom heater was yellow and burnt. The curtains were hard to close and left a small area open that lead to the outside light that was on the entire night to flood thru. The breakfast was minimal and there was no bread to make toast.

Service at reception and breakfast was lovely. I was the only person there and they helped as much as possible. WiFi connected but kept cutting out so was pointless.

Hotel was tired, carpets, curtains and walls were dirty. Bedding was clean but bed was uncomfortable.

The bar was not well stocked and the door from the stairs made a load noise as it closed.

The room was very basic but was totally adequate for our nights stay. The room had a tv and there was wifi.

The carpets and curtains in the room was very very dirty (although the carpet had been well hoovered) and had seen better days, and certainly did not reflect the photo shown above.

Breakfast had a good selection. Consisting of cooked and continental choices. Location was not bad fairly quiet. Room and ensuite bathroom was of good size. Tea/coffee making facility in the room was helpful.
