Excellent choices for breakfast cooked to perfection, added bonus David entertained us with his card tricks after breakfast .Good location to visit places. Parking a bonus. Sandra and David lovely hosts . We loved the chalet very relaxing .

Can't fault anything.

Our 6th stay here. We have stayed here in summer, autumn and winter. A quiet and relaxing retreat with excellent hosts, great breakfasts and handy location for the moors and coast. The cabin is cosy and has everything you need for self catering. The beds are extremely comfortable! Nice decking area overlooking the peaceful garden; an ideal place for stargazing. We will be back!

Perfect base for a family wedding at Hackness Grange as well as coast and countryside. The room was spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. Delicious breakfast cooked to order and a good choice on the menu. Lovely welcoming hosts and we really enjoyed our stay.

Cabin was a bit hot even with the air conditioning unit on (but was 36 degrees outside so inderstandable).

Bijou cabin with everything we needed...friendly Hosts and amazing breakfast choices. Lovely decking area to sit on and friendly ducks and a chicken that came to visit.

Having to leave on our departure day

The location was beautiful and very peaceful. The hosts Sandra and Dave are amazing and nothing is too much trouble. The breakfasts were really good.

We stayed for 3 days and absolutely loved our stay. We stayed in the room with a balcony. It was a lovely spacious room with a very comfortable bed. It was lovely sitting out on the balcony with great views . Sandra and David were lovely hosts serving lovely breakfasts. Would definitely stay again and maybe next time try the cabin which Sandra showed us around. Also some nice magic from David. Would highly recommend

Breakfast excellent, good variety, perfectly presented. Comfy bed Egyptian cotton bedding. The cabin was cosy and quirky. Sandra and David perfect hosts, magic show interesting extra, great location for visiting coast and moors

The only thing that spoilt our stay was the weather as we couldn't make full use of the balcony and enjoy the amazing views.

We stayed for five days bed and breakfast at Wood Cottage with Sandra and David in their beautiful home and were made to feel so welcome by them, they are a lovely friendly couple and took such good care of us, the food was amazing with plenty of choice and even did evening meals if needed.

No complaints but as l have some mobility problems found the steps up to house rather difficult.

We stayed in the Cabin This was very comfortable and well equipped also with many interesting touches The hosts Sanda& David are a delightful and helpful couple. The location between Pickering and Scarborough was excellent.

Nothing, everything was amazing!

Everything was absolutely fantastic! The property was really well equipped and so peaceful and comfortable. Dave and Sandra were such wonderful hosts and the choice and quality of the breakfast was amazing! We would 100% stay again whenever we're in the area.
