Could have been some drawers in the room as there was only a wardrobe for clothes. Shelf over the sink annoying as we kept banging our heads on it

Hotel was very comfortable, host and staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good, evening meals were fabulous. Location was beautiful

I had a wonderful stay. The staff were exceptionally attentive, offering warm and genuine hospitality throughout my visit. The hotel itself was cosy, immaculate, and beautifully maintained. Nestled in a pretty and peaceful location, it was the perfect base to relax and enjoy the charm of the Yorkshire Dales. Highly recommended!

Very nice property. Clean, tidy and comfortable room. Well equipped with everything I needed for an enjoyable stay. Friendly, helpful staff and good food (and great local beer on tap). All set in a lovely characterful and peaceful village. Car parking to the rear felt safe and secure to leave my motorcycle.

Lovely refurbished hotel, done very well. Staff great and friendly. Breakfast good. Restaurant great. Really welcoming hotel. Would definitely stay here again. The location is obviously wonderful.

I genuinely couldn’t find any fault with anything in our stay and the only negative is not knowing when we will be back again but hope it will be soon!

Great location, great to have parking on site and plenty around the property. The building is beautifully historic outside but lovely, modern and clean on the inside! We loved everything about staying here on top of a brilliant sleep and the food was exceptional…that breakfast is up there with the best I’ve ever had and to the middle house team it must’ve just been another day!? Special mention to the younger lady with dark blonde hair as we didn’t get her name unfortunately but she was very welcoming, helpful and a credit to the team 👌🏻

Clean and spacious rooms equipped with everything you could need in the room. Delicous meal (had the breakfests and the dinners). Very pleasant and helpful staff. Great location.

No extra hooks or a shelf to hang toiletry bag in bathroom -

Lovely hotel, centre of village, professional and welcoming staff. Comfortable room with crisp white linen and comfy bed, soft white towels and everything you could need in the room. Really good full English breakfast and we also ate in the restaurant for dinner - we’d highly recommend that as we had a delicious meal, a main and pudding each. Husband said it was the best burger he’d ever had - beautifully presented too. Our dog was made welcome and we enjoyed all the walks nearby.

I’m not keen on properties cutting back on housekeeping. Part of going away is someone tidying and cleaning your room ( you don’t get a discount on 2nd or subsequent nights when they don’t !!) Buffet slightly let down by pastries in cellophane ( not bought freshly that day)

Staff were very pleasant and very helpful. We had dinner on 2 out of 3 nights and it was very good and well presented. All portions were large and they catered for dietary restrictions

We had a meal in the restaurant and were slightly rushed ,while I was still chewing asked if we wanted pudding.When we said no the staff didn't come back to check on drinks or coffee.we had to get the attention of the waitress to get service. Breakfast buffet could of had more detail,the danish option was prepacked would not of been alot to have warmed. there was no bin for cereal boxes and other breakfast rubbish so kept on the table.suger bowl for cereal rather than packet of sugar.. fruit option could of been better. (It was frozen mixed berry)i noticed a couple had brought there own fruit .

Location was ideal to visit surrounding area the staff were lovely and friendly.The room was large and views from the window .food was lovely and tasty.Really quiet setting aswell
