This is not a negative but we didn't fully realise this was a wedding venue until I did more research on the place, (that was my bad really!) I think you just have to be aware of noise from any weddings going on, whilst you are there - having said that, music only goes on until 11pm (which was not a problem to us since we sleep later than that anyway!).

It was so clean, spotlessly so. We really enjoyed the location and the peace and quiet. It really doesn't feel like a cabin/tiny home, and more like a hotel room, due to the cleanliness and spaciousness of the place. It was self check in, which makes things convenient. I can't fault it at all to be honest. We were there for a short trip to Edinburgh, and it was a cheaper option than hotels in the city.

The shower had plenty of pressure, but half of the holes in the shower head were blocked in #8 snug.

The property is lovely. The unit is spotless with a comfortable queen size bed and large windows that provide sunlight and a beautiful sunset. The lighting inside provides good light too. Besides privacy, the unit had loads of uncluttered space for storage. If you want a peaceful quiet night with pretty views and a clean room with a decent size bathroom, this is a great choice. It's also approximately 30 minutes from the Edinburgh airport.

The snug was so spacious and well equipped with everything we needed. The contactless check in was perfect for us as we were attending a wedding at the venue, so gave us great flexibility and the breakfast option was brilliant for the morning, as well as being super tasty.

There was a microwave and kettle which was lovely but could have done with somewhere to wash the cups after use.

Beautiful and quiet location. Lovely room and facilities 5-6 min drive to Bathgate station. Parking at the station currently free. Regular trains to Edinburgh Waverley.

I had an amazing overnight stay in this spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed snug. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making it easy to relax and unwind. The peaceful and quiet surroundings added to the tranquility of the experience. Everything I needed was thoughtfully provided, and the check-in and check-out process was simple and hassle-free. Truly a perfect place to stay—I’ll definitely be back!

The snug is far too warm in the evening’s. Cant open windows or doors due to wasps & insects. Small portable fan insufficient ❌ Maybe look to add a small air conditioning unit for use in the summer period when / if required ✅

Steep walk up to the snug with slippery pathway. Extremely warm inside and limited cooking facilities. Not suitable for more than a short stay.

The snug and cottage were spotless. Views stunning. We booked this because our daughter was getting married at the venue and the staff were amazing especially Josh who had everything running like clockwork reassuring everyone and keeping them calm I would highly recommend this venue to anyone.
