Had a jacuzzi bath but didn’t work and the mattress was great except it did sort of tilt from the middle to each side. Lost internet connection on occasion

It can be noisy in the evening because it is on a main street and above a pub which hosts club nights Thursday - Saturday. The venue is clear about these events so no one is surprised but it can still be a bit daunting getting through the crowd of people to enter the hotel section. They do have security and overall it is well organised, so NOT a dealbreaker - just something to bear in mind. The free disposable ear plugs are welcome :)

The Vestry is a terrific location for ease getting around the main centre of Chichester and getting to the Festival Theatre on foot. The rooms are a good size with very comfortable beds. Bathrooms are a bit old fashioned but clean. The shower worked well. Nice towels and complimentary toiletries. I have stayed at the Vestry several times and have never been disappointed. The staff are genuinely friendly.

Varied comprehensive breakfast menu. Staff were very helpful and went the extra mile. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The parking was confusing and I had to pay £30 to park the night as there were no spaces with the hotel. You can also hear the bars below through the windows.

The room itself was lovely and the bed really comfortable. The bathroom was really clean and the water pressure was amazing. Check in was easy and entry to the hotel was simple. I left something in the room and they bagged it up and kept it for me to collect a few days later. Staff were lovely and really responsive.

A very large bedroom with a very comfortable bed. The pub below shuts at 8pm on a Wednesday so there wasn’t any loud music and no need for the ear plugs that were provided!

The location was brilliant, the room was clean and cosy, the staff were brilliant and the breakfast was excellent the sausages were really good quality and if I could cook my poached eggs I would have them more often. The staff wished him happy birthday and gave him a bottle of prosecco from the staff at The Vestry totally unexpected but very nice.

TV was very slow.

Very central location with easy convenient parking right behind it. Staff very welcoming and even gave us a jug of water with ice and two glasses, to take back to our room in the evening. Lovely large airy room.

Room a bit noisy with the live band in the bar - we were worried when we saw the earplugs on the nightstand - but not too bad once you got used to it. Not every evening, so check website if this may concern you.
