There weren’t any bad elements to this stay. Note there is a skylight above the bed which is lovely for looking at the stars at night but does mean you’ll wake with the sunrise (eye masks are provided to combat this). The kitchen has all you need for a short break to be able to cook (oven, hob, toaster and kettle). One utensil that would be a great addition would be a set of scissors however (if a set was present we couldn’t find them)

Lovely wooden cabin in the woods, welcomed with a slate sign guiding us to the cabin. The cabin was easy to find from the main road with easy parking. The track is a typical farm track. A short gravel path down the cabin lit by festoon lights and the cabin itself was all you could ask for. A lovely kitchenette, en-suite shower room, log burning stove with fuel provided, and double bed inside. Outside a bath overlooking a field of sheep and some woodland. Lovely sympathetic lighting outside at night. The WiFi was perfectly adequate to watch movies on a phone or iPad

The place is beautiful, spacious, very well-organized, and exudes a sense of luxury. From the very first moment, the impression was positive. Mr. Fraser was extremely courteous and professional—he welcomed us with a warm smile and paid great attention to every little detail, which made our experience comfortable and truly special. His manner was so refined that we felt more like guests in his home rather than just visitors. The interior was clean, elegant, and gave off a cozy, homely vibe, thanks to the overall atmosphere and the care put into every aspect. The entire experience, from arrival to departure, was seamless and reflected excellent organization, high-quality service, and a genuine concern for the guest’s comfort.

Enough facilities throughout the property and very comfortable beds, great showers and a magnificent bathtub which I’m still dreaming about! Good attention to detail with a welcome sign and complimentary prosecco was a nice touch. Good amenities and a well functioning dish washer! The hosts were great, they kept themselves to themselves and gave us the space and exclusive use of the property which was nice! They were easy to contact and gave us help via the phone whenever we needed it! Overall this place was beautiful and “The Barn” in which we stayed was amazing. We will definitely be back soon! What an incredible little gem of a hideaway to stay at! The 'Forest Cabin' is a cozy little cottage close to Loch Lomond with serene views and a lovely little wood burner. There is an outdoor bath, which was probably the highlight for me, perfect for taking a warm, steaming bath at night with the forest trees swaying in the breeze, or a refreshing cold plunge in the morning to start the day off! The hosts were very friendly and helpful and, all in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Highly recommended!

WiFi signal was intermittent but didn't ruin our stay.

A very friendly welcome with all the stops pulled out. A Christmas tree 🎄 awaited us outside the front door. The Barn was a stunning and very comfortable property. We noted a lot of little extras included by the owners which made our stay like being at home . The quality of the renovation, fixtures and fittings made this a 5 star 🌟 accommodation which we would certainly love to return to.

It was one of the, if not the best accommodations on our travel through Scotland. We enjoyed ourselves very much and would have liked to stay longer. The former barn is nicely renovated with a modern and very stylish interior. The fireplace was perfect for cozy evenings.

The property was immaculately clean and equipped with some essentials for cooking and cleaning as well as a surprise complimentary Prosecco. The property was warm and furnished in a way that created a proper cosy cottage vibe for a girly weekend. There were also lots of games in a lovely little basket in the living area which we appreciated as well as the leaflets which showed things to do in the surrounding area. To top it all off, Eleanor and Fraser were so lovely in helping us when we could not get the tv to load which really made the stay even better. Thanks again for an incredible stay.

Fraser and Eleanor were so welcoming .The riverside cabin was very comfortable and they had even provided fresh milk prosecco and crisps.A very comfortable bed with soft pillows.A lovely view to the sheep in the field.A very good shower inside and inviting bath outside.You just need to let the water run for the hot water to arrive.

The driveway to get up to the accommodation needs some repair. Big pot holes the whole way up. Other than that, no complaints about this stay.

The space was great for 3 ppl. The kitchen was well equipped. The water pressure was great and the water was nice and hot for showers! The wifi was fast. Lots of wood supplied for the woodstove, which was lovely and heats up the accommodation quickly. We found some snacks and a bottle of prosecco waiting for us, which was just lovely and appreciated. The beds were super comfy.

Lovely location and the owners are very friendly and no problems at all if anything was needed. Lovely little courtyard area for BBQ with a fire pit. Crisps and drinks on the table when we arrived nice little added touch.
