The only small thing I can think of is it would be nice to have a larger bar area to spend time in before dinner.

Our room was very comfortable, plenty of space and peaceful overnight. I was very happy that my request for a birthday cake arrived at dinner as arranged and it was delicious.

Nothing falls under this heading. However we would have liked a hotel garden which we think would be the cherry on the cake. One further, albeit a minor point, we would prefer a conventional cooling fan in place of the Dyson air cooling device

In our double room there was a lack of drawer space.

Excellent breakfast and an unusual and delicious dinner menu with reasonably priced wine list. The family quarters were extremely comfortable. Very friendly staff.

Nothing. It was all good. The rooms are not cheap but ultimately you get what you pay for and as returning customers we know what we get for our money and still keep coming back.

This is a little luxurious gem in the heart of Southwold. Lovely rooms and a great restaurant. Our room was beautifully appointed and very classy. The in-room Bose speaker to connect to was a nice touch and a small free bottle of Adnam’s gin was super generous. The food in the restaurant is outstanding Totally unpretentious but still super unusual. I had cold beetroot soup with horseradish - which would not normally be my cup of tea - but, oh my God, it was unbelievable. I have to go back just for that!!!

Car parking was limited and the view from our window was on the beer and ale factory.

Great location, in the centre of the town. The staff were amazing and so friendly and welcoming. The decor was high end throughout. A cosy bar area, super comfy lounge area and well equipped tasteful bedrooms.

There was early morning noise from the barrels/brewery in the courtyard, however, a small inconvenience. The beds were remarkably comfortable and we slept well in the main.

Stylish hotel with comfort, quality and hospitality at its heart. Superb facilities-the proximity to the towns amenities, own secure parking, tasty breakfast and attentiveness of staff set this hotel apart from others we have stayed at in the past in Southwold. Cannot rate and reccomend it highly enough.

Bigger bathroom extra chair

Breakfasts were very good. Room was v good - could have done with one more comfortable chair. Bathroom a bit tight but plenty of hot water and lovely big towels.
