The shower over the bath was difficult to use as there was little headroom and no shower curtain

The room was good value for money. The meal in the restaurant downstairs (pub) was good. The location was excellent and the reason we chose this accommodation.

Breakfast (on the weekend) doesn’t start until 8am, as this is a fishing trip ideally we would have been started earlier than that. The doors for breakfast weren’t actually unlocked until just after 8 and although we were the first to be served it was gone 8:30 before we started eating (it is served at 7 on weekdays so that would have been better timing for a fishing trip!) The bin in the room hadn’t been emptied and the hot water for the shower seemed in short supply. Neither was a huge issue for a one night fishing trip stay!

Great location, we have PAAS permits to fish a stretch of the river upstream for a few days and the location was excellent for that. The guy who greeted us with keys was very helpful.

My husband and I liked the location (opposite the museum and the River Severn) and the b & b is extremely good value for money. The breakfast was lovely.

Water in bathroom could have been hotter,but inconsider the age of building its ok 1st day breakfast at malt house very hot all fercilty was avabile 2nd day breakfast hot but tables not cleaned and cereal and coffe ferciltys put away by 9.20am so didn't get a 2nd cup coffee,just went back to room made another one didn't matter 3rd day breakfast hot ,ferciltys clean,water for tea and coffee only warm,

Quirky little hotel good parking short walk to the village and park,overlooking the river,happy staff Had to walk to Malt House for breakfast not a issue good breakfast and polite staff

Don’t know how they expect you to have a shower if the shower head is just dangling from the bath, shower head no connected to the wall, not everyone can get in and out of a bath !!!!

There was no TV in the room, but on this trip I was not in the room long enough to miss it. The pub below was quite noisy until 11pm (but I knew I was staying in a pub room, so I cannot complain about that)

Plenty of on-site parking. I was met by the bar-staff who were very pleasant and showed me to my room. The room had a shower and a bed, which was what I was paying for.

Nothing really. My room was at the back of the building so was a little dark but nothing to spoil my stay as it was a short stay. Had it been a longer stay, I might have preferred a room at the front overlooking the river.

Received a lovely welcome. My room was clean and comfortable. It had a sash window which opened easily as the weather at the time was quite warm.

Carpets could do with a deep clean. Single bed mattress was a bit springy. Car park was a bit tight

We just needed to lay our heads overnight and it was perfect for this. The family room was above the pub and though it could do with a bit of a refresh, it was great value for money (especially as breakfast was included in the price)! Seemed slightly short staffed, but we received a warm and efficient welcome! Breakfast was served at another pub just down the road - selection and service was very good.

We were in room 5 at the top of the building. It had a sloping roof in both sides. Bumped head a few times getting out of bed and pretty much impossible to shower due to sloping roof. Bath quite shabby, lets the rest of the room down. Been the before in a different room which was much better. Parking could be a problem, full at times.

Single bed springs are very noisy, single bed not comfortable because of springs in mattresses Room really hot 🥵 bring at the top no proper windows only in the room not much ventilation for a higher class room. No views.

Nothing much to dislike it a old building in a beautiful place.

Staff are very nice and very helpful .pub is good and food was nice .The rooms dated but clean, carpets a bit warn but for the price I thought it was good.
