Very clean and tidy, staff so friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Food ( Sunday roast ) wow, amazing and breakfast just as good. Great atmosphere and would definitely recommend.

Parking there is very little of it and when you have travelled 7 hrs to get to that point you just want to park and get in your room.

Everything was very good in fact i have told my wife i will take her to stay there soon and we will definitely stay there next year on our annual trip up to Scotland and back.

Location was great, room was nice and comfortable just what we needed after 4 nights camping! Loved the little bed, water bowl & treats provided for our dog Reggie, such a nice touch! Breakfast was very good! Would definitely recommend!

Right in centre of Lyndhurst. Near all amenities. Great location The staff super friendly and helpful. Great breakfast and a great menu for food if eating in the restaurant, we had a fab stay. Bed super comfy and lovely room.

We stayed in the Lyndhurst room which was a large, bright room with comfortable bed and lovely large en-suite with good shower. Also dog friendly with dog bed and water bowl provided. The reception and bar and restaurant staff were very cheerful, helpful and friendly. The cooked breakfasts and restaurant food was good. The WiFi worked well.

We were in a front room and the road noise was quite loud. Had to have the windows open as it was a hot weekend. The shower was a bit weak but useable.

Good size room. Breakfast was really nice too with a good range of choices. Parking round the back of the pubs was very handy. Sometimes a problem for mid town locations. Bed was very comfy. We had dinner in the restaurant in the Stag and the food was really good.

Nothing to dislike

The hotel is ideally located for exploring the New Forest. Staff were very polite, helpful and made us feel very welcome. Good choice of breakfasts and dinners on the menu. The service and food were very good, all the food was freshly cooked to order. Our room was plenty big enough, with a nice comfy bed. Good selection of drinks in the bar. Lovely big garden to relax in. Free parking to the rear of the hotel.

1. Shower over the bath. Why not a no walk in shower? Who uses a bath in a hotel these days? 2. The car park was fine but directions were poor. It would be helpful to send directions to people who are bringing cars that enable people like us to avoid parking in the Ferrari sale yard! The one way system requires good quality directions to ensure the pub car park can be found. Either a post code or a street name would be good to enable GPS tracking.

The room was lovely and the breakfast each day was delicious. Onsite parking was fantastic as it's a busy town. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Located right in the heart of the high street, it was perfect for exploring Lyndhurst. A great base to explore the New Forest and then come back in the evening for dinner or a few drinks.

Parking was potluck as it was so busy but this is as expected in a town front hotel in August.

Excellent venue and lovely staff. Facilities inside the hotel are lovely and what you’d expect in a period property. Beautiful food in the restaurant.

Bit noisy from road but nothing can do about that - didn’t detract from anything and still had great nights sleep

Everything room very clean great location .. staff amazing and food delicious we had an evening meal and it was so good.. the breakfast that was included was fantastic .. would recommend highly .. and right next door to Ferrari 🙌
