Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Bedrooms could have better blinds to block out the morning light.
The property was very beautifully decorated. Everything has been thought of including even earplugs. It’s was very centrally located. Perfect for all the restaurants and bars. Also very clean throughout.

Excellent location, lovely new and spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated apartment. Laura thought of everything including, milk, chilled water, coffee, tea etc and full kitchen utilities. Comfortable beds with fans in rooms. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely book this apartment again in the future. Janine

Would have been nice to have the bedroom windows open in the hot weather but the fans were sufficient .
We loved the location of this property, various parking options at reasonable prices. Lively area of pubs and eating places. Can be noisy.but it didn’t cause us any issues and didn’t hear anything during the night. Property has excellent facilities and kitchen well equipped for 4 people. Had a fabulous meal in The Coach, would highly recommend this place.

Bedroom slightly warm.
A really lovely apartment, clean modern with everything you need. Host was helpful and friendly. Ideally located for all the town and nice walk to river. Would definitely stay again .

Not about the property but about finding parking, it is really really difficult in Marlow and was compounded on our leaving day as all street spaces had been taken up by movie vans as they were filming an episode of Marlow Murder Club so impossible to find somewhere to put the car while we loaded our bags...not the problem of the apartment of course but it did spoil our enjoyment of Marlow.
Beautifully decorated, very clean, centrally located. Owner very helpful when we wanted to leave our bags for later collection.

We loved this apartment. Clean, spacious, comfortable exceeded our expectations. It is on a main road in the middle of Marlow town not a quiet location during the day but at night very peaceful. We needed a carpark but across the road was ok to park or a carpark 100 meters away. Highly recommend.

The apartment was in an excellent location. It was exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated, with all of the appliances and equipment we could possibly need. Lovely extra touches.

Great apartment in the centre of Marlow on the high street. Great restaurants and pubs nearby. Lots of lovely river walks and tea houses. The apartment has everything you need and is tastefully decorated. We parked in the car park opposite and downloaded the app. Very cheap to park. We left the car there the whole time.

Some of the comments state that the apartment was noisy at the weekend, and although we found this to be true the ear plugs left at the property meant that we had a great nights sleep. This would not put us off booking again.
The location was great, the property was clean and the welcome items left were thoughtful and appreciated. Perfect for a night or weekend away.

Perfect location to explore Marlow,, lovely place with plenty of amenities and clean and tidy. Due to location you can hear the high street noise but nothing that disturbs. Would reccomnend for anyone visiting Marlow.
