Loved everything, exceptional stay, luxury facilities with the added bonus of staying in a charming charictaristic building, hosts and staff go above and beyond to make the stay comfortable and enjoyable , the room was decorated beautifully with modern furnishings, the breakfast has a very wide range of choices and presented beautifully, parking is easy and the location couldn't be any better for access to restaurants , sea front and towns nearby, if we could give this 10 plus stars we would, booked to stay again before we left, LINDA AND IAN HALL

We loved it all and could not fault it in any way.

Breakfast was delicious. The room was cleaned every day; it was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. It also had a very good en-suite shower. The owners couldn’t have done more.

The Ryedale is excellently situated close to the train station, bus links, amenities and not too far to walk for the sea front. Hayley and John went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful, very helpful and knowledgeable. The rooms are beautifully clean and well maintained with everything you need from tea, coffee and drinking chocolate to hairdryer flannels, towels and much more, the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was everything and more! Multiple cereals, Fresh homemade fruit salad with 10 fruits in it!, yoghurt and honey to a full very tasty English breakfast, toast and preserves galore. We will definitely be returning to the Ryedale on our next visit. Thank you John and Hayley for being the perfect hosts.

There was nothing we did not like!

The accommodation was lovely with so many thoughtful homely touches. Nice decor and spotlessly clean. Hayley and Johnny were exceptional hosts. They were helpful before we arrived with the ferry and the parking, and throughout our stay. They are genuinely interested in their guests and there is a lovely atmosphere in the B&B.

Parking is a 2-3 mins walk at the train station . The hosts pay for it .

The property is a quaint little house with about 7 rooms. All of it is renovated recently and maintained spotlessly clean. The hosts are wonderful and accommodative . Breakfast is a good spread and again they are accommodating of simple requests.

    can’t fault it !

We had a great stay here! Hayley and John were so lovely and full of good recommendations. The breakfast was brilliant, lots of options to choose from and freshly cooked. The room was lovely! The location was great, right by the station! We used public transport to explore the island and found it to be a great location to get around from (there’s a bus stop right outside the front door)! Having access to the fridge and communal dining area was really good as we could bring back takeaways and enjoy them at a table after a long day of exploring ! Perfect mix of hotel and apartment as we got hotel luxuries but apartment convenience :) 10/10 stay, we’d love to come back
