The room great , a bit dark but great & the bed was so comfortable. without doubt one of the most comfortable beds we have slept in a hotel so well done. Breakfast was superb staff were amazing Would highly recommend this place. Had a great vibe and really friendly feel

Unable to get a coffee at the bar in the evening after our meal and also when we came back from our day out at a wedding.

Breakfast was lovely with excellent staff. The meal our group had in the separate room was absolutely delicious with 10/10 staff.

Such a comfortable, clean and welcoming place. Excellent location for driving to the ferry terminal for an early ferry departure. So dog friendly - we were amazed by the dog-friendly atmosphere and the facilities for our little poodle.

Amazing stay, Laura was brilliant and so were ALL the restaurant staff. Cute hand written note was left in the room along with complimentary treats and water. They also had Oatly oat milk in the room !! 10/10

Really lovely room, comfy bed and the little touches in the room like the lights being on and the fan being on waiting for us but also the little personalised message and the sweet treats. Just so personal and different to when you stay at a chain hotel. Breakfast was also really good (eggs florentine lovely) and the breakfast staff were lovely and couldn’t do enough for us.

Having to use my phone "tech" to access Wi fi and scanning QR codes - which i am unfamiliar with: have chosen not to use my phone for such. The staff were extremely helpful and sorted this for me.

Room was smaller than expected and Bed boxed in on 3 sides was claustrophobic and airless despite fan being on max and window open as far as possible. Shower cubicle was tiny and shower head too high for me to adjust ...I'm barely five ft tall and approaching 80 yrs old.

Being a ground floor room it was a little noisy. The guests in the room above were not the quietest.

Breakfast was great, well cooked and plentiful choice. Room was large and everything one would need for an overnight stay. Comfy bed, chocolates, fridge with water and fresh milk to go with the coffee machine. Bathroom offered lovely toiletries

Couldn’t fault anything. A previous occupant had broken the fan and it was replaced for us when we reported it.

The rooms are large with massive comfy beds. The staff are all lovely. The food is great. I’m a big believer in you get what you pay for…….

Was on a relatively busy road, although that didn’t impact my sleep. The dining room gets very noisy!

Rooms were great, comfortable bed, nice decor, and good bathroom. There’s a very large bar and dining room. Outside there’s a comfortable garden with different types of seating. The staff were friendly and attentive. Welcoming of dog owners. All dogs I saw were well behaved.

Our room had a garden view at the back and must have been very close to the kitchen as we found it necessary to have to close the window due to a strong odour of grilled meat coming from outside.

The bedroom was spacious and very clean and there were some nice touches such as complimentary gifts of chocolates and Crémant fizz to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The staff were pleasant and friendly and made my wife and I feel valued as a guest in a very professionally run establishment at all times.

I especially loved the charming courtyard – it’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy a quiet moment. The breakfast was also delicious, with fresh and tasty options every morning. The car park can get quite busy due to those eating/drinking at the pub, they should have some allocated spots for hotel guests.

The breakfast was a bit disappointing. The service was brilliant, but the sourdough was so tough it was nearly inedible, and the spinach was gritty. But that's us being a bit fussy.

It was all brilliant, the bed was very comfortable and they had the fan and radio on already when we entered the room. They made us and our spaniel so welcome and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We'll stay again for sure.
