A little bit tired in decor but no worse than many seaside resorts. It was fine for the cost and made up for this in other areas.

It had a private spa (hot tub, sauna, shower, lounge and garden area) you could book for two hours and loads of other unexpected entertainment. It also had these weird little lifts dotted around the property. The location was perfect. The four poster bed! The food!

We stayed in a Silver Room as a family of three. While the room was adequate,it felt a bit compact, especially the bathroom, which was quite small. However, the location of the hotel is excellent and very convenient for exploring the area.Overall,a good stay, mostly thanks to its perfect location.

Think the parking could be better managed especially when checking out as handing keys back in when your going up and down with luggage is a pain.

Loved the fact that it was dog friendly.

Unsure which facilities are recently updated but it certainly wasn't our room. The double bed was comfortable but the bedsheet barely fit so by the morning we were waking up on the dirty mattress. The single bed was not as comfortable but adequate. The bathroom was adequate again but the shower was tiny (my husband could barely fit in and shut the door. And the shower itself although warm with adequate pressure was a tiny stream of water. The room wasn't very clean, there was half a cookie down the side of the bed and under and around the toilet seat clearly hadn't been checked and cleaned. We were aware of the lack of lift and that wouldn't normally be an issue for us but without Aircon in the hotel the hallways and stairwell were sweltering making climbing 6 sets of stairs with a young baby almost unbearable. Unsure if all 'family' rooms are charged at the same rate but if so our room definitely was not value for money as definitely not what the family rooms looked like online in photos. All in all very unlikely to book again.

The location was faultless, right on the beachfront. Staff were quick to rectify a problem in our room (faulty soap dispenser) and staff were pleasant and helpful throughout our stay. The entertainment on an evening appeared fun for all and although not so much our thing with a young baby we were impressed by it. Food for both breakfast and in the restaurant one evening was really nice and good value for money we thought. The bar was well stocked and the cocktails were very tasty.

I would definitely prefer them to upgrade their sausages, but everything else was acceptable to me

The staff were attentive and pleasant, the hotel upgraded our family room to one overlooking the sea. The window had a very low sill which you could step over to the balcony, where they had a table and 2 chairs set out. It was lovely to be able to sit out on and watch the sea. The rooms are a little tired but it is a very old building. The breakfast was plentiful, bacon was good as was the scrambled eggs, but the sausages were poor. I would definitely book to stay there again though.

Our room was very small, with a 4ft 6 small double bed,my husband is 6ft 5,so it was a tight squeeze as you can imagine,in hindsight I maybe should of ordered a silver room, not bronze, but we knew we would be out most of the day.parking was full at the hotel,so we had to park about 15 mins away, fortunately the weather was ok and the hotel gave us a permit for a £20 deposit. I couldn't shake off the feeling I was in a converted care home the way the hotel was laid out.

Weymouth is a beautiful place, location is perfect, close to all the bars, restaurants shops, harbour,Weymouth pavilion,so we were able to walk everywhere and see and do what we wanted to do,the food was lovely in the smoke house and grill, breakfast was really good too.

Chaotic checking in process - too busy and cramped. Consequently, they hadn't time to reply to your telephone queries prior to arrival Anything extra seemed to attract a cost.
