How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

1. The lift didn't work for the 5 days we were there. We were on the 5th floor with an elderly parent. 2. The bedroom windows could prob do with being looked at as the hinges don't fully close so could hear the Aircon machines below.

Apartment was spacious 2 bathrooms one was en suite bath and shower. All the kitchen accessories perfect for self catering. Lovely big windows family of 5 plenty of sleeping options.

The other guests were incredibly noisy. Constant banging of doors / thumping fists on the walls / doors. Made for a very tiring nights sleep

The fan in the bathroom didn’t work, so the room was steamed up quickly. We did inform the staff at check out.
Central, able to hold all of our family group easily, two bedrooms and bathrooms was ideal.

My friend mentioned he had trouble sleeping on one of the mattresses because it was uncomfortable and springy. The shower in the 2nd bathroom was quite poor. The elevator in the building is a bit run-down.
This is a really solid apartment. Great kitchen. Staff was extremely nice and welcoming, provided a map and in good spirits. The apartment itself is spacious with a big living room, and nice views from our floor. The master bedroom shower was good.

No parking on site - but website says there is, and the parking is not in the safest area if you need to access on a night. We were there bankholiday weekend so very noisy and busy outside, didn't bother us but could bother others so just an awareness on a weekend. Sofa bed was very uncomfortable could benefit from an extra mattress topper or new springs. Was fine for 1 night but would have struggled for more.
Staff were friendly and welcoming. Location is very central to everything and easy to walk to main places.

Very noisy at night until the early hours as it's right next to a lively pub but then you are in a city centre so to be expected really, we soon got used to it. It was also very warm as we were 4th floor. A fan was provided but the apartment is warm nevertheless.
Excellent apartment, really big, comfy and well equipped. Good location, 10 minute stroll to the city centre and attractions. Friendly, welcoming host.

The communication was very good, and the manager was very attentive, we had everything we needed and even upgraded our apartment as we were a party of 5 so he made sure we had the largest apartment

The apartment is very clean and secure. The bedrooms are light and clean, plenty of towels. The kitchen/lounge area are open and very clean. Excellent value for money.

It was a hot weekend and there is a lot of glass so some rooms hot, fans provided also someone set off fire alarms at 0445

The apartment is ideally situated in a central location making it easy to access local attractions, restaurants, and shops. The apartment was spotless and well maintained, the kitchen was fully stocked with utensils, there were also available oven and washing machine. For the price, I believe this apartment offers exceptional value. The quality of the accommodation and the great location definitely exceeded my expectations.

The flat was very very warm, particularly the smaller room. This is not anything that can be helped, especially as the weather was very hot but during the day and night it was very warm and García to sleep, even with fan on. If you are staying I would recommended taking earplugs, again it’s not something the owners can help and you are in the centre of Liverpool in an amazing location but if you want a full nights sleep, defo take earplugs!
The flat and location were fabulous, have absolutely everything you need for a few days away from home!
