Beautifully presented. The main old building looked cared for and welcoming. It featured a very pleasant restaurant and bar area, and we were served by lovely staff who made every effort to provide a super-quality service throughout our stay. Attractive “barn” style accommodation to the rear, using local-looking stone/slate, and set within pretty, well maintained gardens. It suited the quiet setting, and our room was comfortable and peaceful, with a flavour of a Cornish rural retreat! We really liked the real, fresh veg that was served in the restaurant; it was a good, memorable thing! Thank you!

Amazing de-luxe room, very up to date, modern, clean feel, with excellent features and a great bathroom especially. A very quiet location, so much so I felt I was on a retreat! The breakfasts were excellent.

The bathroom floors were very slippery when wet. The light in the toilet (room 15) didn’t work. Despite reporting it, it didn’t get fixed during our stay.

The Plume is in a perfect location for visiting other parts of Cornwall. The rooms were modern and comfortable. The restaurant was a good standard both for evening meals and breakfast. All staff were friendly and helpful.

The rooms were missing several amenities that had been listed at the time of booking—for example, an iron was not provided unless specifically requested. Upon arrival, we received only three very small water bottles, and had to buy additional water from a nearby supermarket. The room itself was not clean and appeared dusty. We had booked a family room, but the shower area had no door, which was quite inconvenient.

The breakfast , restaurant and the outside area of the property was excellent. They also give you an option to opt out of housekeeping in return of a £5 voucher which is a good step towards protecting the environment.

Property is relatively close to the highway which you can hear if you have a window open at night. Breakfast was a little understaffed and felt rushed. Something you do not need in the morning.

Nothing, if they had body lotion to match the great bathroom products as well I would have jumped for joy. Not a lot in the immediate surroundings but fine if your in a car.

Spacious carpark, dog friendly, free EV charging if staying overnight. Large firm and comfortable bed and large wet room bathroom and gorgeous smelling bathroom products. Vegan breakfast available. A very nice premium stay. Thanks

The dog friendly room we stayed in was spacious and clean. A large car park, and field to walk the 4 legged children. A good location to explore Cornwall, just off of the A30. Breakfast was delicious. We didn't eat dinner here as we had prior engagements but will next time.

The position of the room (rm 3) as it was just above the kitchen so I heard the ding for service from 7am.

Loved the room decor and bed linen. The bed was really comfy, it was huge, and great to have a separate single bed for our son. The bathroom was my favourite! The breakfast was amazing.

Bathroom was very stylish but the hand basin was very shallow and not much use. The bath was stylish but also slippery and my Wife fell and hurt herself.
