The Old Lodge Guest House is full of charm and located in a perfect spot to enjoy peaceful views of park/pasture land and to walk to Lincoln Cathedral, Lincoln Castle, the old medieval city, and the Harbor area. Hosts Deborah and Gordon extend their warm and gracious hospitality to make a stay there relaxing and welcoming. The breakfast is superb. I would book another stay there in an instant if I were returning to Lincoln.

Gorgeous property, incredibly friendly and accommodating hosts and delicious breakfast. Rooms were immaculate and the bed was so comfortable. Location was lovely, great to see the horses everyday.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this charming bed and breakfast. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the beautiful and tasteful decor of the room, which was not only aesthetically pleasing but also incredibly comfortable. The attention to detail in the design made the space feel cozy and inviting. The Debirah and Gordon were friendly and welcoming. Their warm hospitality added a personal touch to my stay, making it even more enjoyable. Breakfast was amazing.The quality of the food was outstanding. It was a delightful start to the day. Overall, this B&B exceeded my expectations in every way. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and comfortable stay.

Can't think of anything other than no air con but old building so understandable and electric fan was provided.

The hosts were wonderful, the room was great with a large very comfortable bed, the breakfasts were some of the best we've eaten. It takes about 20 minutes at a comfortable pace to get to the City Centre but as walkers we also walked the opposite way and had a nice walk along The Viking Way, so for us the B&B was well positioned offering the best of both worlds.

We can’t think of anything that Deborah and Gordon could do better.

Lovely guest house, really well presented, comfortable room , immaculately clean and lovely hosts. Yummy breakfast with lovely fresh coffee. Opposite South Park which is beautiful with horses roaming around. Free street parking. Great location for Sincil Bank football stadium and a short cab ride or walk into the city centre.

There wasn't anything I didn't like. It isn't right in the centre but it is walkable.

The hosts were very attentive, even before we arrived, letting us know that parking might be a problem due to a football match and to arrive sooner. The breakfast was lovely and was offered more if we wanted. Comfortable beds, adequate storage space and modern bathroom. Lovely views over the park area with horses in the field.

Nothing at all. It was spot on.

Excellent one night stay in this beautiful character Guest House. We were in room 5 on the top floor and it was a lovely, bright, elegant and comfortable room with a good bed and lovely shower. The whole place was absolutely immaculate. Breakfast was in the gorgeous dining room, overlooking the Common and was plentiful and very tasty, hot and well presented. We couldn’t fault it at all. Gordon & Deborah are very welcoming, friendly and helpful, and provided us with a large cold bottle of water when we arrived as it was a hot day, which we certainly did appreciate. A great location in Lincoln and we had no problem parking right outside. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay, we will definitely return 😊

Did you read the above? What do you want? A laser show? A Blankety Blank chequebook and pen? You want the best possible room, a brilliant bathroom, great facilities, good parking, a sterling breakfast, and wonderful hosts. The Old Lodge has it all and more.

What a wonderful stay at The Old Lodge! Where to start? Absolutely unexpected, but we were utterly bowled over. A gorgeous, classic-yet-effortlessly contemporary rooms. A massive, extremely comfortable bed where the partner and I considered ourselves in different postcodes. Firm but fluffy pillows. Immaculate bed linen. A bathroom (including stand-alone bath!) to die for. The most fantastic of breakfasts - including a wonderfully considerate bespoke vegan selection for the partner - served in a gorgeous dining room overlooking South Common. All presented by the wonderful owners and hosts, Deborah and Gordon. Don't be daft and throw money at the Travelodge or one of the city's chain options. Do yourself a favour - just go see D&G!
