Great surroundings. Brilliant breakfast choices and quality. Everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming. Sunday night quiz in the bar is recommended.

Very friendly staff immediately made us feel welcome. The room was large with a massive bed with high quality warm bedding. There was tea, coffee and fresh milk, together with biscuits. There was also a well stocked mini bar with very reasonably priced drinks. There was also a good sunny garden with seating. Views from the room were delightful. It was very peaceful with no traffic noise. We thought the food was great and we really enjoyed our meals. The pub bar was entertaining with a free to enter pub quiz. Take the travel advice on how to get there! Would I stay here again? YES!

That we only stayed one night. Would have loved to be there for another night at least.

Everything. Before we arrived, we were sent instructions on how to get there and told to ignore sat nav as it brings you up very small roads. Very helpful. All staff were so friendly. Food for dinner and breakfast was as good as any place we have been. This hotel/inn is top of the range. We will definitely return

loved the hospitality, staff were super welcoming, food and service was brilliant! really loved the little extras, in the rooms, complimentary items including sherry!! took the the dog for a walk in the lanes, we all thought the place was excellent.

I don't think there was a lift upstairs, but staff were on hand to assist with bags and downstairs rooms available.

Beautiful tranquil location with fabulous views over the countryside and garden. Pleasant garden to relax in The early bird dining offer was good value, including our delicious fillet steaks. Well appointed and exceptionally clean bedroom. Pleasant, helpful staff. Excellent base for exploring Chirk, Shropshire and Wales.

The standard menu was not very seasonal casseroles are not really the best thing when temperatures are in 30s .the gourmet menu was perfectly balanced and reflected the time of year.

An excellent location in a quiet beautiful river valley. Our room was excellent with a nice touch of having a separate dressing room. The public rooms were overlooking a very scenic garden and ere well appointed. They have provided a very relaxing environment.

Literally couldn't fault it in any way.

What a find, this hotel was exceptional, they have thought of every last detail to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Nothing was too much. The dog was treated like a king and cannot wait to stay again. Every member of staff was very welcoming and couldn't do enough for you. Well done, team Mulberry. If you own a hotel, I'd suggest you stay here and take tips. This hotel ticks all the boxes and more. High standards. Thanks for a lovely stay.
