Everything about the cottage was perfect, we cannot wait to return, the location is perfect and peaceful, Laura and Ronnie are such lovely people and fantastic hosts, there was nothing they could not do for us! Stunning property with great views, very clean and cosy with the owners being very lovely and helpful. Had a blast being greeted by Bertie whenever we went outside and arrived back at the property! Would go again and recommend to others.

We had an incredible stay at the Mews. The area was beautiful and there was loads to do. The hosts were the best that we've ever had and went out of their way to make us feel at home. We cannot wait to come back again and we could not recommend more!

Everything! Nothing not to like. Everything was exactly as per the description on the reservation. Laura and Ronnie are warm, friendly and very welcoming. Bertie just absolutely adorable! New friends! The views from the cottage is absolutely spectacular- i could not get enough of watching the sunrise every morning over the lake. The cottage is beautiful and tastefully decorated. Super clean and comfy. Clearly we had a magnificent stay and can not wait for our return.

It would be absolute nit picking to find fault

Was in a beautiful remote area, with stunning views. The cottage itself was a decent size, was well furnished & had good quality fixtures & fittings. It was equipped with everything needed for a great stay eg. Iron, TV, great storage for all your clobber (so it felt like a home) & brilliant cooking facilities & utensils. We will definitely be returning.

Couldn't fault the Mews, perfect little cottage overlooking the Lake of Mentieth, has everyone you require for a getaway in the Trossachs. Only thing better than the view of the lake was opening the front door and seeing Bertie the retriever waiting for belly rubs! We will definitely be back. Thanks Ronnie, Laura and Bertie

The owners were really nice, made us feel very welcome. The views from the Mews were fantastic, no wonder it is so popular. We really liked the quirky upside down house and would not hesitate to stay there again.

It was a clean comfortable accommodation,very peaceful and quiet . The Location was great for touring the Trossachs a beautiful part of Scotland. The local people were very friendly. Our hosts Laura and Ronnie were helpful and informative. We will return one day .

Wonderful cottage and super friendly welcome, felt right at home and will look forward to our next visit, one day. Was able to send over a birthday gift to be on show in the kitchen for when we arrived. Beautifully built and a stunning complex with everything you'd need including a welcome pack of bread, eggs, butter & milk.

I would like thank Roni Laura and Bertie for making us feel at home . Our cottage had everything , too electric appliances , excellent mattress and pillows and a fantastic and cosy fireplace . The views from living room, kitchen and the veranda were absolutely astonishing and we specially loved the tranquility of the place . Close to lakes , Callander and many other viallges . We definitely come back. Easily accessible due to proximity to Glasgow airport .

Nothing - everything was outstanding

The Mews is a beautiful place to stay - amazing views and excellent hosts. Laura, Ronnie and Bertie were super friendly and helpful. The apartment is super clean and organised really well. Could not have asked for a better few days away......outstanding place to visit.

The only minor thing to feedback on would be that there could have been a few more kitchen items to use. More than 1 sharp knife, a mixing bowl and a plastic chopping board would have made this slightly easier to use the kitchen however we made do with what they had left us. We enjoy cooking even when we are on holiday so this was our only feedback!

Laura and Ronnie were amazing hosts. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. They offered many recommendations and even fulfilled my request for a birthday cake which was so lovely! The cottage was very cosy. They provided free firewood to keep the wood burning stove on the go the entire time. We had fresh towels and robes to use and even a small welcome basket of basic food items to get us started. They offered us their corporate card to a local spa facility to use their pool and sauna for free! And most of all, their dog Bertie was always around to make sure we were happy with our stay by checking on us regularly and leaving us lots of toys to make sure we had enough to play with him when he showed up.

We had an amazing stay at The Mews. Laura and Ronnie (and Bertie the pup!) are the kindest, warm and generous hosts, and we could not have asked for better! This amazing property is in the perfect location on the hillside, with fantastic views across the Lake of Menteith. A great location for access to Callander, Loch Lomond, Aberfoyle and beyond. We can’t speak highly enough of it, and can’t wait to go back!

We knew on the drive up surrounded by the most amazing views this was going to be special. The Mews is an absolutely stunning cottage..spotlessly clean ,cosie and beautifully furnished and has everything you need if you want to stay in and cook a meal and watch TV. There are a few nice restaurants a short drive away and lovely drives to enjoy the surrounding places. This was our first wedding anniversary and we wanted somewhere quiet just to relax and this gave us more than we expected. Views are spectacular all around you. The hosts Laura and Ronnie are lovely, so welcoming and friendly. On arriving Laura welcomed us with a welcome pack of bread, eggs butter and milk. Telling us of things and places we could go on our stay.Nothing is a problem for them and have extensive knowledge of the surrounding area. Last of all is Bertie the beautiful and friendly Retriever. He came up to visit us every day for a well deserved belly rub , a charming wee character. We both highly recommend a stay here and assure you that you won't be disappointed. Can't wait to go back over New Year 🙂
