Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. Everything else! The staff were all excellent; friendly, welcoming and professional. The quality of the food we had for dinner was exceptional, as was the breakfast. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and we would certainly use the Marquis of Granby again.

The atmosphere was warm and welcoming the staff great and so was the food. The room was inviting and the bathroom area with the mirror wall behind.

A variety of items for breakfast, but only two kinds of cereals available. Everything cooked to order, so, if in a hurry, it could take too long for some. All very nice anyway. Staff all very friendly. Dinner very tasty, although both of us only had a starter and a sweet on one night of the four we stayed there. Great countryside location between Folkestone and Dover. Near A2 and M20 too.

This little inn is an absolute gem of sumptuous welcome, class, and comfort. The dinners and breakfasts were served in a charming, well-lighted room. The food was superb, imaginative, and all taken care of by thoroughly professional staff. A true gem. The Le Palmier room was so roomy and had the biggest bath I have ever seen. What a joy!
