Stephen and Karl, excellent hosts, breakfast fabulous, accommodation is one of the best places we have ever stayed in. Arriving early, but that was no problem for them, parking 👍thank you for a good couple of days Anne & Paul

Everything was 10/10

Absolutely fantastic hosts, gorgeous accommodation. The breakfast was out of this world. Absolutely nothing to fault. Only problem, our break was over too soon. Would have loved to have stayed longer!

I honestly cant think of anything maybe a small bottle of water in fridge as i don’t drink tea of coffee.

We was made to feel very welcome. Location was great. Free parking a bonus. The whole hotel was extremely clean. Great large comfy bed and comfy pillows. Loved the little balcony perfect to sit out on. Was great full to find a hairdryer id forgotten mine, little fridge in room with fresh milk for coffee. Full English Breakfast was delicious and choices before of cereal fresh fruit & yogurt fresh orange to help your self.

Everything we read on previous reviews was correct. Standards have certainly not slipped. It was a joy to stay in this gem of a place we would not hesitate recommending it.

That we couldn’t stay longer! Our 2 night stay was beyond amazing!

We don’t have enough good things to say about our stay at The Lonsdale! If you want to be treated like royalty and have hosts who go above and beyond in many ways, this property will not disappoint. From homemade biscuits in room to serving breakfast suited and booted, holding out the chair for you, Stephen and Carl are absolute diamonds and their hotel is exceptional!

There is absolutely nothing to dislike about this establishment. It is run with lots of love and care. Stephen and Karl really love this place and everyone who walks through their door are looked after. Can’t wait to return.

Wow factor. Amazing. Beautiful Victorian decor. Our Room was of same style. Tea and coffee facilities with a nice touch of home made biscuits.. small Fridge in room with fresh milk in it. Very comfortable and made to feel really welcome. En-suite bathroom which was nicely tiled and fitting in with the decorative theme. Stephen served our wonderful full breakfast cooked by Karl, on a nicely laid table. Felt like we were in the Ritz. Arrived as a guest and left as a friend.

There was nothing that we did not like

Fantastic hosts! Immaculate bedroom and bathroom. Excellent full English breakfast. Loved the home made biscuits Carl! What a joy to watch and listen to Steve playing the baby grand piano. This is the best guest house we have ever stayed in. You can walk from Blackpool North station to the guest house in 5 mins. The North pier is also very close by.

There is nothing to dislike

Absolutely EVERYTHING about The Lonsdale is AMAZING . I cannot believe I have never found this place before Stephen & Karl are superb hosts, they really make you feel at home nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast is outstanding & cooked to perfection. We have already booked to return in October. It is without a doubt the best bed & breakfast I have ever stayed at.

Leaving

We loved everything about 'The Lonsdale'. From the warm welcome to the relaxing atmosphere, exceptional attention to detail, truly faultless. Stephen and Karl are the 'creme de la creme' of hosts, with exquisite taste. Breakfast was the highlight of our day, fantastic fruit salad and choices of cereal. Perfectly cooked English breakfast, served with flair by Stephen.

We loved everything about the Lonsdale from just walking through the door it’s the most amazing place to stay from the style of the rooms to the breakfast room everything was amazing.Steven and Karl were amazing hosts so helpful and kind from walking into the hotel to the day we left they were amazing.we didn’t want to leave but definitely will be going back there.A big thankyou to Steven and Karl for an unforgettable stay

Great location, the owners/staff were really pleasant and helpful. We had a bedroom, sitting room, balcony and bathroom on the first floor. All immaculately clean, beautifully presented and lovely flowers on the balcony. Everything you needed was at your fingertips.

Absolutely stunning! When we arrived it was like stepping into Downton Abbey. The interior is perfect for anyone who appreciates vintage decor! 5* service from the hosts; delicious vegetarian breakfast, beautifully decorated room and a rdiculously comfortable bed. The complimentary homemade shortbread biscuits in our room every day were the icing on a very well made cake! Carl & Stephen evidently love doing what they do and it was a pleasure to stay in their beautiful bnb.

There was nothing I didn’t like

Once here I didn’t want to go out , so calm relaxing & very spacious. Attention to our comfort was fantastic . The hosts couldn’t do enough for us & I felt very spoilt . Hope to return .

I can’t think of any improvements that could be made.

The breakfast was excellent with fresh fruit salad and cereals available followed by a delicious cooked breakfast. Free secure parking is provided. Stephen and Karl are lovely friendly hosts who have created a charming hotel.
