They e mailed to say a wedding on so would put us in a room as far away as possible however our room looked over the outside Space for the wedding. Very noisy we couldn’t open the window and it was very hot-they couldn’t switch our room to the other side of the block.

No plug socket near a mirror made it hard to dry hair and the bed was a little soft for my liking. My room was on the ground floor which was fine, but whilst the two large windows could be opened, the smaller one at the top was locked which was tricky for overnight ventilation, but otherwise nothing to find fault with.

Room was clean and well appointed, pleasant temperature and comfortable. Nice to have a fridge in the room.

Room good, bathroom tiny. Bed very comfortable but fridge in room kept me awake at night. It would be useful to have a note reminding customers not to slam doors late at night when they return to the hotel. Receptionist excellent, made a breakfast tray for us so we could leave early and brought it to our room.

£16 for two baileys so expensive for a tiny glass can buy a bottle for £10 !!!

We were warned the day before about loud music as there was a function. This did stop at 12 .... HOWEVER ... the hotel had piped music which played in the grounds and this was still going at 1am. As we had our window open (it was hot) this kept us awake. I've no idea why they would leave the piped music on so late. We checked in before 7, and I was then called at 9-15 to ask where we were as we hadn't arrived! We were in our room! 10 minutes later, someone knocked on the door saying they had our extra towels we had ordered, we hadn't asked for any. Seemed a bit dis-organised ... maybe that is why the piped music wasn't switched off.

Breakfast was good, room was plenty adequate enough for our brief stay.

The steep stairs could be an issue to any body with mobility issues but I'm sure if booking in advance you could request ground floor

The lady working in the restaurant serving breakfast was very good and a credit to the hotel the breakfast itself was hot and tasty

the room we stayed in this time smelt musty, it wasn't as clean as the last one and it just smelt unclean.

Some noise from a wedding party happening in the function suite nearby, it was a Saturday night, so fair enough, and was quieter by 11pm. Room was smaller than I was expecting for the price, but comfortable.

Well located near M42, small, basic, but comfy room. Friendly helpful staff. Good for a short convenient overnight stay.

Music in hallway rather loud and could be heard in our room until gone 9pm . We had to turn the sound up on our tv.

Well presented room, clean and comfortable. I ate in the restaurant and the food was very good, as was breakfast. All staff were super friendly and approachable. A great find, I would stay again.

Difficult to put finger on anything. Only small thing, and that is luck of the draw is room (4) is a bit tucked away and doesnt get much light from windows. Inside room was fine though

The sausages with the mash could have been done a little longer. Maybe ask how the customer would like them cooked in future. Everything else was fine and this was my only complaint.

We could only book a twin room as trip arranged fairly last minute. The room was fine, although only had a velux window.

Our second visit & location was convenient, close to major roads although feels like you’re in the countryside. Great service & all staff were very friendly & attentive. The restaurant was great & the food was excellent.
