We had a comfortable spacious room with all the regular facilities plus a fridge which we found really useful. There was a great selection of items for breakfast and the hotel offers dinner too. It was a good location for the places we planned to visit with easy access to the motorway

The M40 is a constant hum so difficult to open windows at night. It’s a bit of a walk from the Ridgeway ! ( Can’t have everything)

There were no tissues in the bedroom or the bathroom. The dispenser for the sanitary products bags was empty.

The welcome was wonderful and Philip was so approachable and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent.

Feels a bit outdated

Conveniently located just off of the M40 and with swift access to Oxford. Bedrooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast was great

The location isn't overly picturesque and there is some local road noise, but not much at all from the M40. It would also be helpful to not have the breakfast buffet in the restaurant where dogs can't go, when you're on your own with a dog you have to ask staff to get food from the buffet for you, although the staff were very helpful doing this.

The ground floor rooms opening onto the courtyard garden and wood floors were great for staying with a dog. Dinner and breakfast are served in the bar if you are staying with a dog, which was relaxed and friendly.. The food was lovely.

The bed springs were uncomfortable, so the bed would ideally need a new mattress. The reviews I read said it was a good breakfast, but I found breakfast disappointing. We arrived around 9:15am, (breakfast finish was 10am) and there wasn’t much left, -: very little fruit, no brown bread for toast ( only large crusts) I asked for it to be refilled, but it wasn’t. The limited hot food was not hot, I was unable to eat it and I am not a picky eater. I was disappointed because dinner the night before was excellent, next time I think we need to get to breakfast at or before 8am.

Large comfortable room. Staff very helpful and polite. Good access from the M40 & M25, so great stopping point on a long journey. We had dinner in the restaurant which was excellent and I would definitely recommend any guests to stay for dinner.

A little tired . Wallpaper starting to peel in the bathroom , so needs redecorating. Toilet cistern needs some attention old and noisy. Arrived back from an outside event about 11:30 pm wanting coffee. Asked a member of staff if the bar was open to purchase coffee and was directed to a bar servicing a private wedding venue which was awkward as it looked like we were gate crashing the party that was still in full swing. So we retired to our rooms without our coffee. In the morning we arrived for breakfast and we were told that we hadn’t ordered breakfast, although we had when we checked in on arrival.

Layout of breakfast buffet was too cramped. More attention needed to clearing up empty glasses and other rubbish around the hotel and its grounds.

The location is a bit out of the way but that will work in your favour if you're looking for a quiet weekend away.

Nice venue for a wedding reception - that's why I was there. Bars, dance floor and rooms, all a stones throw away from each other. Breakfast went down well too.

Attractive hotel with a modern accommodation block & lovely garden area close to the car park. Spacious bedroom with mini fridge. Buffet breakfast serving a good selection of hot & cold food.

The room was very clean and quiet even though the location of the hotel is near the M40 motorway. The breakfast was excellent and I would recommend staying at this hotel due to hotel cleanliness, facilities and location.

Definitely just useful as a stopover or a meeting location; nothing else in the immediate area.

I stayed as a stopover on my way to an event, and it was better than I was expecting. I wish I had given myself more time to enjoy the facilities more (I did not eat, or use the gym) It was slightly dated, but still quite nice, quiet, and right off of the motorway so very convenient in the evening and in the morning.
