Clean and comfortable rooms over a pub short drive to Old Hunstanton Beach. Pet friendly. Lovely dinner and breakfast - seated me where my dog could sit with me while I ate. Staff friendly and helpful.

Serve yourself items were sometimes unavailable. Alpen and fruit salad. Long wait for main courses

The cooked breakfast was very good. Not all cereals on the firstday were available on other mornings. Same for fruit salad

The shower didn't work, but the bath did. However, this was a small inconvenience and the landlord made up for it by compensating us. The place was also dog friendly so we were able to take our dog along with us for a change.

Great base for exploring the Norfolk coast between Hunstanton and Cromer. The rooms were very comfortable and the food was excellent.

Shower was broken , staff seemed to already no about it but I booked months ago don’t no why they still allocated me this room I wasn’t a last minute booking.

Kettle and areas of the bathroom were suffering from an attack of limescale and would benefit from some descaler

Staff were fantastic especially the young girl on reception when we arrived. Our superior room was lovely , decor was great and some nice touches.

Lady at reception gave me the impression that she is doing me a favour to let us stay at the hotel. Unfortunate she was the same person serving us dinner. The steak was a 3 out of 10 and my wife's lasagne was dry and burned.

Breakfast was good and waitress was very friendly. Aircon in room was a blessing in the heat and nice comfy bath was excellent. Ample parking and quiet night for tired guests.

I wanted a bath one evening and there was hardly any hot water. I thought the food was overpriced for what you got.

service was slow and food choice should be more varied

the room was excellent and very clean although the bathroom needed to be maintained more regularly A stand alone shower would be more helpful than a bath food was good but deteriorated over the week and service was slow due to the fact only one staff on during mealtimes therefor service was very slow

The beds are a bit hard for me.

The outstanding thing about this hotel is the staff. Julie and Claire welcomed us upon arrival and looked after us the whole stay. Great location. Good breakfast in lovely surroundings. We are looking forward to booking again in the near future.

We found the food little expensive, quiz night was on that we weren’t aware of so while having dinner the music went off and we had to listen to questions being read out, this also impacted on the service in the restaurant which was non existent for most of the evening, food took forever,

Room was spacious, comfortable, ceiling fans really helped keep it cool, nice old features, bar/reception staff excellent who resolved some issues.

WiFi was poor and shower temperamental, neither a great problem though.

Breakfast was very good, location good too but need a car. Restaurant area was lovely and leafy. Plenty of parking spaces. Staff friendly and helpful.
