    Nothing.

Beautiful hotel. Relaxed and comfortable. Staff all lovely. The evening meal and breakfast were fabulous. The Cullen Skink I had is probably the nicest soup I've ever eaten. Only problem was I then didn't have room to finish the haggis which was also fab.

Room was small and very hot. Had to sleep with the window open but our room over looked the car park and main road so was noisy. Our room was on the first floor above the lounge area and you can hear the music from below. It didn’t stop until 11pm and started again at 7am so no chance of an early night or lazy morning! No lift so be prepared to carry your luggage up the stairs.

The room was tidy, clean and well maintained with a view across the road to Loch Lomond. The bed was comfy. We didn’t try dinner but breakfast was good.

Our room was small, lacked any view and was too warm (we didn't spot the air conditioner behind the curtains). The dog walk from the hotel along the lake path was hampered by the busy road but there was an open area by the lake opposite the hotel

Lovely view of the Loch. Very friendly staff and easy check in. Dog lawn was useful amd the hotel was very dog friendly in general. Evening food and breakfast were both excellent, as were the cocktails.

I had arranged with the receptionist to pick up a take out breakfast as we had to leave very early the next morning. Unfortunately this was not forthcoming and the Night Porter had no knowledge of this despite being told by the Receptionist that he had been informed. The noise from other rooms was intrusive.

Liked the location. Reception, bar and restaurant staff welcoming, helpful and polite. The room was clean and of an adequate size.

The bed wasn't very comfortable and the sheets were rough and made us itch. About the room, it would be useful a mosquito net for the window. It would avoid unpleasant encounters, especially with spiders. The cleaning room service is another sore point. The second day, we left the room to go hiking in the morning and when we came back (around 3.30 pm) the room still hadn't been cleaned and tidied. We decided to try the traditional afternoon tea to let them work without us getting in the way (even we were tired and little hot). Around 5 pm, we went back to the room and they had only folded the towels and left some cookies. They hadn't made the bed or cleaned the room (including the bathroom). Cleanliness is very important for a hotel and we'd like to give some tips on this. It would be useful to use products that can thoroughly clean the wood (otherwise, the tables look dirty and sometimes a bit sticky), given that tablecloths or placemats are not used to separate the cutlery from the table. The counter should be cleaned better (including under the coffee machine, otherwise those are sitting at table 17 has a very close view of everything under the coffee machine). Lastly, when cleaning the table, though I'd say this is unfortunately very common, the chairs should also be cleaned of crumbs (if they're not collected in a rag, but simply "thrown" off the table).

We've been at The Inn Loch Lomond for 2 nights. The two best things are the location (included the tunnel that connects the hotel to a trail around the lake) and the restaurant. The food was good, even though we're used to a different type of cuisine. We recommend trying the dinner and the traditional afternoon tea (from 12 am to 4 pm). Breakfast, on the other hand, was passable. Unfortunately, as in Edinburgh, there's widespread use of pre-packaged and pre-cooked food, rather than promoting local products. About the staff, during our first dinner, we met two very prepared and professional girls. At the breakfast, there were younger staff, some of whom were less experienced, but their inexperience was made up for by kindness and good manners. Another positive note is the size of the room (even though ours was irregularly shaped) and of the bathroom, which is also suitable for people with mobility difficulties. We also had the chance to use the hotel's parking lot.
