Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

TurkeyRooms are on the small side and not very practical for longer stays or for older guests. Staff were a mixed bag – some were really friendly, others not so much.
I loved the vibe at The Hoxton, Holborn. The lobby is always full of life and has a great energy. Perfect for grabbing a coffee, working, or just people-watching. The central location is also super convenient, yet it feels calm and not too hectic. I’d definitely come back when traveling solo – it fits that kind of trip perfectly.

United KingdomThe bathroom was very small. The rainfall shower was not easy to operate and could not be switched on separately from the hand-shower which meant excess water in the small space. Sometimes the rainfall would not switch on at all. The fittings seemed to be loose at the wall. The toilet was also difficult to flush.

United KingdomThe lounge area was full of people who I'm sure were not guests at the hotel and as such there was nowhere for us to relax and unwind in the afternoon. A real shame - there should be space available for hotel guests in the lounge area especially as this is not a cheap place and most people were nursing one drink and using all the space. Would not come back for this reason. Felt was really expensive for what was provided

SwitzerlandIt was a little overpriced in my view but maybe that’s the nature of things on a Saturday night in central London ! Had the twin room for dad and a kid and it was pretty small, beds were short for a tall guy like me. So not perfect but as to be expected for a big city hip hotel
Great location in the city, we came for a weekend to go to a west end show and could walk to that and other sights, but it wasn’t in the super busy center so was quiet and could sleep well - ideally situated. Staff super helpful. Hotel very clean, stylish, hip.

SpainThe downstairs lobby was a bit chaotic. It seemed that people not staying at the hotel were using it as a place to work or hangout, which meant that the it was difficult to find space to sit down at the lobby. It was also a bit chaotic in the lobby all the time. Maybe not the environment you would like to return to after a long day in the city. Also, the rooms was a bit more like a youth hostel than a hotel room at this price range. Everything was clean so no issues there. The water in the shower was also not hot and water pressure was poor... a shame since the bathroom itself was roomy and nicely designed. Overall, at this price point I would have expected a bit more comfort.
The location of the hotel is excellent. Very close to the Underground and lots of restaurants nearby. Also seemed to be a safe and clean neighborhood. The staff at the reception was very friendly and helpful.

NetherlandsThe AC mode in the room couldn't be adjusted, likely due to a centralized system, which left me either too hot or too cold. Additionally, the view from my window was just the wall of another building, but I suppose you either get a quiet room or one with a nice view.
