When we arrived there was only 1 towel, 1 mug, one set of biscuits etc - but staff quickly remedied the situation and provided facilities for 2 people. A parking disc was needed in the square but staff didn’t tell us about it on arrival - the information was in the room booklet. One staff member didn’t know how we could get a disc, another did and quickly provided one for us. Other than those errors - all fine. Just irritating after a long journey.

Perfect location in the centre of the town with great free parking behind the pub. The bed was incredibly comfortable with beautiful bedding, especially the pillows. The team couldn’t have been more attentive, kind and welcoming. The breakfasts on both morning good. I’m not a fan of buffets but there was something for everyone. The food off the menu, very good and best of all coffee from the machine on the bar. Highly recommended.

Brampton is a lovely little village with a few pubs. The Hampton Arms was the best Hotel in the Village, very tastefully decorated rooms and an amazing full english breakfast. Very happy

Excellent location in a pretty village on the Hadrian Cycle Way. Have stayed before and the staff have always been relaxed and welcoming. We had a comfortable room with a lovely shower, delicious evening meal and the breakfast choices include lighter options ( eggs Benedict, advicado on sour dough) . Our bikes were safely stored. We like the friendly buzz in the bar.

Amazingly friendly staff who were very accomodating. The rooms were very comfortable with modern facilities. You feel like you’re staying at home rather than at an Inn. We had dinner both nights of our stay and the food was exceptional! Amazing braised beef pie the first night and superb sirloin steak the second night. Also very dog friendly. Stopped here whilst exploring the nearby Hadrians wall.

as one might expect with an historical building, the floor of our room had a slope, which might have presented challenges to somebody with mobility difficulties.

location was perfect. although no on-site parking, there is a free car park at the back of the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful and the food was good. the bathroom was spacious and had good shelving space where we could put our own toiletries. we also liked the small shelf in the shower.

A lovely dog-friendly pub in Brampton. I love dogs but don't own one... non-dog owners, you should be aware the place is scrupulous clean and there is absolutely no 'doggy' smell, so do not be put off. The decor is lovely and the staff are friendly. I could barely move by the time I got there due to achey legs, but they were very tolerant of my hobbling. Breakfast has everything you could want. If you're walking, you can load up for the day, giving plenty of energy. There's a lovely welcome pack with all the info you need to know about the B & B during your stay, plus extra info about local attractions. It's right next to a number of local shops, too, including a chemist if needed, so the location is good. Wall walkers- it will cost you around £10 from Walton in a taxi.

We booked two rooms and they were both equally well equipped and very comfortable, however the larger room with views across the high street was superior in my opinion and we paid the same rate for both rooms. Would have liked a reduced price on the smaller room.

Welcoming staff, very comfortable beds, lovely rooms and the food is exceptional. Excellent location for exploring the area and the market town of Brampton is lovely.
