Very basic bedroom Shower room was extremely poor and unclean

It's a bit soulless. No one about. All remote with keys accessed via a key box at the door. Rooms are Spartan with IKEA furniture, and there is traffic noise. Beds very spongy. Water in shower difficult to set temperature.

Do not stay at this property.I will provide pictures below cheapiest mattresses you could find with springs sticking out, old Blood staines on the pillow and duve , feces on the toilet seat underneat, black sludge coming out of shower head and taps, hair and toothpaste in the brush holder , the list could go on, had to wedge bedroom door with a chair.As the door did not lock

There was nothing good about this property very dirty. Mattress full of Springs pillows, the thickness of a newspaper mould on the walls taps with so much scale and black sludge, high risk of legionella disease.. Which can kill,, bedroom door don't look

The restaurant & bar were closed & only open on a Thursday & friday, We went there with the plan off having food,but couldn't, The room wasn't clean with cobwebs, Only one set off towels for two people No soap,no shampoo

I had no breakfast as the place was fully booked.

Surprised the hotel was closed when we got there but met the owners the next day who explained it was being run on a bnb basis

This was not what I was expecting. This is a room above a deserted pub. The pub has closed down - NO bar, NO restaurant and no people. When I came to check-in there was a phone number to call to get a key code for the room. I was the only person in a deserted building in the middle of no where. It didn't feel safe. I didn't stay more than 5 minutes and this cost me £203 - No Refund

There was no hairdryer in the room. It’s quite dark coming down the steps and you walk into a side road so I’d advise to have your torch on your phone ready.

Very comfortable bed. Quiet room even though the property is on the main road.

There is nothing positive to say above this hotel, after two nights we checked out we were due to stay for ten nights for work commitments but due to the lack of service and the neighbours dog barking at all hours, and then the dog owner shouting abuse when he was asked to stop the dog barking, we had to leave.

This is should not be called a hotel. It does not have the normal services that you would expect from a hotel, from servicing of the rooms to provide clean towels daily.

There was nothing that we did not like.

The location was excellent as we were very close to the Church & the Hall for the Wedding we were attending. The Breakfasts were excellent, very nicely cooked to order. The couple running this B & B were very welcoming and extremely helpful throughout our stay!

A opening window in the bedroom to help ventilation or a fixed fan. But that's just me trying to be constructive not a dislike.

The owners were brilliant, helping me with a printer and use of their pc. The price was great, the room was great. And the breakfast was top draw. Don't look at the old reviews, there has been a lot of renovations and the difference from what It was now its under new management has been done well.

Take your own shower gel and toothpaste.

Brilliant value for money, fairly basic but perfectly good 👍 Although I didn't book breakfast, I did eat there one morning and it was really good. Location is close to a main road but good for access to East Anglia. Staff were friendly and helpful, a family run business.
