emma greeted us and instantly made us feel welcome. the house has a lovely homely feel to it. it’s in a brilliant location. craig was there to give us our breakfast and it was really lovely, it felt like a home from home. would definitely recommend

The Hathaways was the perfect place to stay in Stratford Upon Avon. It is located in walking distance to the town, the room was lovely, the bed was comfortable and the choices for breakfast were great. The food was delicious. Kitchen facilities were very handy and everything was always clean. Our hosts were very accommodating and helpful with parking and suggestions for restaurants etc in the town. Would absolutely recommend!

We had to keep our window open due to a heatwave which meant that the traffic on the main road outside and the bin men disturbed our sleep throughout the night and early morning. There was nothing that the hosts could have done to change this. It's just unfortunate that we are light sleepers.

Really lovely, clean, well managed place to stay whilst visiting the local tourist attractions. Amazing hosts provided a good breakfast selection which was really well cooked. There was also a good continental selection. There was even a fully fitted guest kitchen with utensils, crockery and facilities to cook for yourself in the day or evening however there is loads of good local cafes and restaurants to eat at. The parking was on the nearby side streets and only cost £5 for 24 hours. The town centre and attractions are within a few minutes walking distance so there was no need to take the car.

We were on the top floor and it was very nice and cool with fresh air flowing in and out. The room was very clean and spacious. The staffs were super friendly and welcoming and breakfasts were well prepared and tasted good

It was exceptionally hot so the room was warm but the hosts did what they could and provided us with a small fan. We were road facing and having windows open meant we had traffic noise but this was only a small issue

Rooms could benefit from air-con/fan, especially during a heatwave. Locks could be a bit more secure, was a challenge to lock our room from the inside.

Incredible hosts. Very welcoming from Day 1: they provide you a map of the town and recommend several great restaurants and sites, the property is kept very clean, and the breakfast is superb.

I have to say that I had some questions in mind before the stay because i am used to big fancy hotels. BUT this family knows what they are doing. The room was clean, the food was delicious and the front garden was full of colorful flowers. The city is small but the hotel is very close to everywhere. I will be more than happy to stay there again and would recommend to all of my friends who would travel SUA. Thank you once again for warm and cosy accomodation oportunity.
