Recensione verificataPosizione vicina al centro per potersi muovere anche solo a piedi. Buona colazione la mattina.
La camera era abbastanza normale ma con le finestre direttamente sul parcheggio e quindi abbiamo dovute tenerle sempre chiuse per avere un po' di intimità. Il bagno invece abbastanza insufficiente con vari problemi tecnici.

Recensione verificataAbbiamo scelto questo hotel per la possibilità di parcheggio e per la vicinanza alla città (sono 10/15 minuti a piedi alla porta di accesso al centro storico). Abbiamo ricevuto un upgrade gratuito: la suite era molto ampia ma era necessario salire delle scale (per noi okay ma non per tutti). Bagno comodo, nuovo e pulito. Colazione tipica inglese con possibilità di scegliere tra qualche succo, burro salato e marmellata. Pochissima scelta dolce, dovete nel caso ripiegare su corn flakes o pan carrè su cui spalmare burro/marmellata.

Recensione verificataChe bella sorpresa! Una struttura davvero carina e graziosa a 2 passi dal centro di York. Situata in un quartiere residenziale molto bello e pieno di tipiche villette inglesi. La camera era pulita e sufficientemente spaziosa, con un bell'affaccio sul cortile interno. La cosa davvero degna di nota della struttura è però la colazione: spettacolare. Una colazione tipicamente inglese, cucinata all'inglese. Per prima cosa ti viene chiesto cosa gradisci da bere: consiglio il latte macchiato, davvero buono. Ma ci sono anche succhi e, per chi vuole, il té. Successivamente si può scegliere dal menù il piatto gradito: dal porridge alle uova passando per le classiche salsiccette inglesi. Consiglio caldamente le Eggs florentine. Per chi non può fare a meno della colazione dolce, sono disponibili cereali e tost con burro e marmellata, oltre che yogurt e zuppa d'avena. Il centro di York si raggiunge con una bella passeggiata di 10/15 minuti. Rapporto qualità/prezzo imbattibile.

Recensione verificataAbbiamo soggiornato in una camera ampia, comoda e ben arredata, all'interno di una struttura davvero bellissima e curata nei dettagli. Anche il bagno era spazioso e perfettamente pulito. Vicinissimo al centro e comodo per spostarsi a piedi. Il parcheggio si trova sul retro dell’edificio: è a pagamento (10 sterline per tutto il soggiorno), con la possibilità di aggiungere un’altra giornata pagando un extra, molto comodo se si vuole esplorare la zona anche dopo il check-out. La colazione continentale viene servita in sala e va ordinata direttamente ai camerieri: buona scelta e servizio attento. In generale, un soggiorno molto piacevole in un ambiente elegante e ben organizzato.

Camera piuttosto rumorosa vista la posizione sopra l’ingresso/reception. Scelta a colazione per il dolce con una sola opzione.
