The staff where ever so friendly breakfast was great made us feel right at home will definitely be coming back 😋

We were put in a room in the attic which was quite warm but a fan was provided. Shower tray was blocked and started to overfill onto the bathroom floor. Being in the attic concerned us if there was a fire in the building as there appeared to be only one way down via the staircase.

Ample parking on arrival. Hotel staff are friendly and can’t do enough for you. Breakfast was ok but tbh we were all fryed out. On the days we didn’t have breakfast we were offered breakfast tray in room. Cereal croissant etc. great location for the seafront and close to Stunning Brightlingsea and Frinton by car.

The shower could have had stronger pressure. The room was a little small - this might be because it was a twin room. It was a little tight for space sharing with my brother.

The beds were very comfy. The breakfast was really tasty and a generous serving. It was a super convenient location - very close to the station. Friendly staff.

Personally the building is beautiful but needs updating . I believe with some new furniture dosent have to be expensive and a revamp paint would make the world of difference

Having to have a Breakfast time slot that we were told was the same both days. Shower - couldn't adjust the temperature from cold. Some of the details on the website weren't met eg - a bar

The room was very warm even with windows open and fan on, no room for case/clothes, beds were very uncomfortable, both my son and I struggled to sleep on any of the nights. Personally, I would have liked breakfast from 7 as we always go out early.

Location was ideal for amenities, beach. Very helpful staff at breakfast.

Unfortunately the rooms had a damp smell about them. My parents room smelt more than mine. The bedrooms were very small. My mother also hung up some carrier bags on a handle on the bathroom door which she wanted to keep, but the cleaner got rid of them. You should only really get rid of things placed in the bin.

The cooked breakfast was very nice. The waiting staff a lady and her granddaughter were very friendly and so helpful. It was a great location.

Room was very small, we didn't get the single beds requested and one of the reading lamps and the tv remote didn't work.also bed was not, for me at least, the most comfortable, (very soft).

Our room was at the top floor of the hotel , up several flights of stairs, not a problem for us , but could be if we’d had any mobility problems

Staff are lovely, they are so helpful and asked us exactly what would we like for the cooked breakfast, and to ask if we needed anything. Breakfast was great . Hotel and our room were very clean . The shower was great , powerful and hot. Good location near to the beach. Ample free parking. Great value for money.
