Not too sure about the bath in the bedroom and not in the bathroom. (Sparrow). No screen if you had a shower . Cute, quaint but a tad inconvenient unless you love a bath. I do. Sloped ceilings in the room. Rooms are in 2 story cottages -- ask for the ground floor if you have mobility issues. Hotels in this area don't really have the space for a car park but there are a few spaces available at the G. Pheasant . Just there for a night. We would stay again for a short stay.

Location was great on Burford High St. Food was nice in the bar at night time.

When people were outside in the courtyard it was a little noisy in the room. As it’s grade 2 listed the windows are old so it is expected that they won’t keep out the noise. It was quiet over night

Was a lovely hotel, the staff are friendly and helpful. Although they don’t yet do breakfast, the evening meals we had were amazing. Well presented and so tasty, although initially felt they were in the pricy side, the quality could not be faulted and we realised that it was very good value for Burford (everywhere is pricy!) The best were also super comfortable & the shower was amazing!

The hotel is located centrally in Burford which has lots of pubs within walking distance of the hotel and the hotel itself has a great bar .

Lack of parking, room was quite warm so maybe a fan/fridge for cold drinks.

Room was clean and tidy, food was amazing staff were always pleasant and accommodating. We will definitely recommend this hotel and will definitely stay again 😊

The room was a little warm at night, even with the window open. The room had a little clean on the 1st morning, but they didn't top up the milk for tea. All little things and we still had a really good break away and will return.

Lovely location in the heart of Burford, The Room was to a good standard and the Staff were very Welcoming and Polite. The food was great!!

The room was at the front of the hotel, so with the with the windows open, it was very noisy. The crossing outside bleeped all night. The mattresses were the cheap, spring type, and my husband had a dreadful nights sleep due to the springs digging in. The shelf was coming off the wall, and there were paint splatters in the bathroom. The shower had limescale over the head. The snagging list in the bedroom and bathroom was a long one. There was no plug socket nearby for the kettle, so we had to put it on the floor as the cable wasn't long enough. We expected more from this hotel. It lacked attention to detail.

On arrival, we were upgraded to a superking room ( normally 2 singles), which was nice. We were taken to our room personally, which was a lovely touch. The hotel had only been open for 2 weeks after a refurbishment.

Big Window needed a net curtain. No privacy. People walking by the window always looked in. Also very very hot and the sun came straight through window. stifling hot in the room. No air conditioning. Only stayed a night and glad.

It was a hot summer evening, small windows therefore lacked ventilation. Room fans or air conditioning would have made a difference. Struggled sleeping.

Only criticism of the place. We were there at a time where the weather was really warm and there is nothing in the room to cool down such as air con or a fan. So the rooms did get really warm. The rooms could do with air con or a fan of some sorts.

Really nice pub/hotel in a really good location. Rooms were comfortable and staff were very friendly and helpful. Food in the pub was very nice.
