Could do with a bedside table and door hinges etc could do with some oil as a bit squeaky

Brilliant location, easy access, stairs are very steep if you have mobility problems, shower good, comfy bed, kettle and a welcome pack, small can fridge

Rooms were great but rest of the hotel little rough around the edges. For the price one pays it was great value though. I would go again.

There wasn't anything that I didn't find to my liking.

The hotel is located within a short walking distance of the train station and just a few minutes from the beachfront. There is a lovely open-plan sitting area and dining area for hotel guests to use. Both rooms were well equipped with comfortable beds. The larger room (Room 3) had a separate bath and shower. While no breakfast buffet was offered, there were provisions in the rooms which included a small mini bar fridge with milk and yogurt as well as with breakfast food items (croissant, porridge, cereal bars, etc). Staff were welcoming and friendly.

The stairs might be a bit steep for some older customers. I was ok.

Great budget option. Easy free parking opposite along side the golf course. Friendly hosts who make you feel very welcome.

This is a fantastic place to stay if all you're looking for is somewhere to sleep if you're out & about. Booked it over the Fringe by the Sea festival & it couldn't have been better located. Really clean & comfortable, complimentary snacks & very friendly staff. Reasonably priced & we'll definitely be back.

The room we had had severe eaves on one side, and in particular in the bathroom and as we were both tall (6" & 6'3") we had to continually stoop. Similarly the bed was a bit short for us (and creaky). We stayed in the summer and during the fringe by the sea festival but felt it was overpriced for what it was (eg no hot breakfast available)

Great location, a short walk from everything. Rooms are a bit tired but it was clean and a basket of continental breakfast and snacks was provided in the room.

The exterior , it needs tlc. And the wooden bars on the stairs , trip hazard.

Ignore the outside , the rooms are clean , comfortable and they make a real effort with welcome pack.

Nothing, it was perfect for what I wanted and needed. A comfortable stay in a beautiful part of the country.

The receptionist was super friendly and helpful, the hotel is ‘homely’ if not a bit tired (it adds to the homeliness if you can look past the lack of ‘modernness’) and the bonus mini selection box in the room was such a nice touch.

    I liked it all.

The welcome was lovely from the couple who were managing the hotel. It was small but deceptively well appointed. The breakfast in a basket was well presented and just what was needed, with the great little fridge. Location perfect. Parking easy.

The room was very warm despite the velux window being open. I didn’t want to mess around with the radiator.

Fantastic location with free parking opposite. Friendly staff who were happy to chat. An interesting historical building if you like that kind of thing (I do) The breakfast items in the bedroom were a welcome facility and having a mini fridge is a bonus. Also I love having a bath. If you’re on a budget this is the perfect place to stay. Remember to bring ear plugs, my room at the front was quite noisy from the passing traffic. I myself will definitely come back when I’m in the area.
