Musty smell in bedroom. Noise outside in rear court yard, 10pm rumbling casket on Thursday 4th and about 7am 5th September possibly. Draymen arriving not sure.

It's a listed building, which obviously has restrictions when it comes to upkeep (especially the windows) but the rooms could do with some TLC, especially the paintwork - everything is looking rather tired, cracks in the plaster etc. We did get the twin beds we had asked for, but they were the narrowest I've slept in since I was a child! Rather soft and squashy too.

Breakfast menu great, but we had to ask waiter to clean crumbs left on my husband's chair. We didn't have dinner this time, though have in the past and it's pretty good - probably the best place in Witney to eat out.

There was too much noise and people talking, laughing at the pub garden until late 10:30/11Pm. Our room was located exactly there (room 4) and my kids couldn’t go to sleep normally because of that. Also until 2AM next day me and my wife woke up few time because of some people slamming doors, making noises….Everything was good but these problems should be taken in consideration in the future. Especially when are people with babies and small children

NOTHING BAD TO SAY! The room was small but perfectly appointed. This isnt even a negative really as it did everything we needed and was well decorated and clean. Finishing touches were a lovely extra treat too and the girl that welcomed us was so bubbly and friendly - was a very welcome welcome!

The food served at The Fleece is exceptionally good. We had breakfast & evening meal and everything from choice to taste was superb. The variety of the specials was excellent as was the main menu and everything we ordered was delicious. Nothing seemed too much trouble, the staff were all attentive and friendly and the service throughout our stay was next level. We will be back again, no question!

Absolutely nothing

The staff were so welcoming, charming and helpful. They work so hard and always had a smile and a chat to make us feel special. Our room was large with an en suite shower room. Breakfast offered a great selection and set us up beautifully for the day. This pub was a great find and I'd certainly stay again if we are in the area

Industrial glass collection at 5am which woke everyone up, deliveries being made early in the morning. It is a pub so you have to understand that but it was a surprise at that time in the morning!

A very nice hotel close to the center of the town, but next to the village green. Clean and comfortable room. Excellent restaurant. Good breakfast with many choices. Friendly staff. Especially our server in the restaurant. I think her name was Jess from New Zealand. A lovely young lady, who engaged in whitty and intelligent conversation, while providing excellent service.

One of the two rooms was a bit stuffy in the hot weather as the window had no catch to keep it open. The fan helped a bit.

Really nice rooms, including the bathrooms. I also enjoyed having a drink outside the front of the restaurant in the evening. Lovely peaceful spot looking out onto the green.

Room was at the rear and close to the kitchen extractor fan vent. We had brought ear plugs with us and so this wasn't a big issue.

Great location close to the beautiful church. A short drive from Blenheim Palace. Staff were all helpful and friendly. Room was a good size with a fab walk in shower.

We were last there in 2016 and it’s insure need of a refit . Everything looking very tired . As the fire alarm went off at 4.30 am we were promised free breakfast - didn’t happen

Room seemed a bit claustrophobic as the only windows were high skylights. Would have preferred a window to open for fresh air. Facilities and en suite were very good though.

Really nice place in the town centre with parking. Helpful and friendly staff. Good menu and nice breakfast.

Room was tired. No bedside power points. Why? I had to pull out a sofa to plug into a gang socket. New net curtain is REALLY needed as the current one just looks grim/dirty
