Neat and tidy room, really really good breakfast.

Traffic noise a little disruptive.

Would have preferred mugs for tea rather than cups.

Spotlessly clean with plenty of tea, coffee in the room. Good toiletries. Staff were very friendly. Car park good.

The bathroom mirror was a little high on the wall. I had to stretch to have a shave. However, I’m quite small and that’s just being picky.

Food was really good, room nicely laid out very comfortable bed

Would have been good to have the bar open when we got back from Kynren to have a nightcap we got back at 10:10 and it was all closed

The quietness of the room, staff were great and room very clean. Any problems rapidly sorted eg shower not working and fire alarm going off very late at night

Stayed the night and had evening meal which was excellent and very filling so much so did not do breakfast but I know from past experience it was excellent staff make you feel welcome and would recommend this hotel.rebook for next month.

Used as a one night stop over.... Very good well appointed room, comfortable , clean and quiet. Dined here in the evening and again for breakfast.... both meals excellent.... would most definitely stay here again and recommend this place.

We had to say what was needed in the room eg coffee etc rather than the staff checking the room.

The hotel was in a fab location, very peaceful and ideal to travel about.

staff very welcoming made guests feel comfortable, breakfast choice good and freshly cooked , lunchtime meals available and again good choice, good variation on dinner menu. ensuite rooms quiet,clean, adequate, tea,coffee,chocolate and biscuits in your room if you want them,parking outside rooms.

maybe a lounge/relaxing area for guests after their meal, would probably encourage a few more drinks to be consumed before retiring

Disappointed the bar closed when food finished 8.30/9.00pm. A little early to retire to the bedroom. The other pub in the village was conveniently located and it was noticeable on each evening the number of residents from Fir Tree there were!

brilliant location, exceptionally clean and staff very welcoming and polite, food service both breakfasts and evening meals arrived very promptly.
