We enjoyed a very warm welcome from Fiona and from the start our stay couldn’t have been better. Lovely comfortable rooms, fantastic lounge with a very well stocked selection of drinks. Breakfast was out of this world. We took the option of dinner one night and it was incredible - highly recommended. We spent 3 nights at Factor’s House as a base to visit the North and West of Scotland as a family of 4. Fiona was very helpful with suggestions of where to visit and very handy tips on the weather!

A perfect stay - so comfortable, clean, lots of wonderful little extras like fruit and homemade biscuits in the room, amazing breakfast and such a lovely host. Cannot fault anything - we feel privileged to have stayed there.

I was comfy and looked after, Fiona checked in with me making sure I had everything I needed, her knowledge of the area is awesome, I was able to plan my sight seeing with insider info. My room was beautiful, home made soaps, rubarb and rose bathroom spray, biscuits, fruit, drink station, lovingly decorated and so warm and cosy. Being able to have a G and T one night was awesome too :-) A wonderful respite if you want to stay in or explore the town and area.

Everything! Our host Fiona was very friendly and informative. Fiona has added extras that make The Factor’s House truly exceptional. The room was beautifully decorated. The best B&B experience in the Highlands. We would like to return.

Outstanding stay! Beautiful location with lovely views. Gorgeous room with modern bathroom. We opted to eat dinner there and it was very high quality - local ingredients and professional standard. Breakfast had lots of options - including vegetarian - and was absolutely delicious.

Would have liked veggie sausages for breakfast, but there is a huge choice, including bagels with avocado. The full English was really well cooked.

It's a beautiful old house with lovely decor and lots of extra luxurious touches. The bed was comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was really good, especially the fruit salad! The room was full of extras like fruit and shortcake. So much nicer than all the usual modern hotels.

A beautiful house set out in a really stylish way. So many thoughtful touches in the room, delicious shortbread, lovely toiletries etc. Very comfortable bed and very quiet location. Breakfast was delicious and there was a lot of choice. We only stayed once but we will be back.
