It’s our second time staying within the Ellingham cottages, coming back to the same place is testament in its self.

Lovely,well maintained and comfortable cottages,with everything you require for a fantastic stay away. The hosts were exceptional in keeping you updated with information and were quick to reply. Lovely setting. Close to bus stops with convenience stores nearby.

Some roadworks and a car accident during our week meant that buses were rerouted or delayed. The buses.gg app seemed better on an iPhone than Android phone. Not our hosts' issue to resolve!

Location was excellent in St Martin's and near several bus routes. The cottage was excellent for our needs. Booking and follow up arrangements were easy. Lots to see and do on the island. We'll be back for another visit as we want to see more.

No welcome package as advertised, nothing to eat as everything was shut. Reminders about leaving before 10am checkout on first day of stay. 10am checkout is early enough

Outside picnic table was rotten in one area and sharp splinters, shower was feeble due to being an electric shower with chase the rain the raindrop syndrome

It would have been very helpful to have a bus timetable in the room on arrival.

A spacious,well-equipped apartment, looking on to a pleasant field, near buses and within a mile of the beautiful coast.

We didn’t have the code for the key box when we arrived so had to call up but they were friendly and helpful and once in the accommodation was spot on!

Just a few things which need attention, the stairs creek a lot. There is a damp smell in the house and the back door difficult to stay shut.

Located about 10-15 minutes from the airport, bus stops nearby to get to the main town, as well as smaller stores in reasonable walking distance. Comfy beds and well presented property - kitchen included fridge, cooker, microwave, kettle and washing machine. There was also a tumble dryer on-site, but not within the cottage itself. There was a library with books, games and toys to occupy you in the event of a rainy day too!

Loved being able to borrow beach toys, Dvds, books and board games. Staff were friendly and changed the towels mid week. The arrival package was a lovely touch too.

Most beautiful part of island with Renoir's Moulin Huet within walking distance (+ shops + restaurant/pubs) in walking distance. our apartment even had a dishwasher. Yeay!

The rooms were clean, reasonable size and the self catering facilities were good. There were a few essentials available on arrival such as - milk, bread, cheese, tomatoes, salt, pepper, foil, cleaning stuff etc. There was an acre sized field for the children to play in with sport activities. Also available were a number of BBQs with fuel that could be used. All these little extras helped make it a great stay with less stress.

Lovely cottage in the perfect location for us to get around the island. Fiona was so helpful and gave us suggestions for sailing boat hire. She was so friendly and welcoming - a really nice part of the experience.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

The location is very convenient for driving into St Peter Port or the sandy beaches to the north of the island. The bus is also very convenient and cheap. Everything you need for a very comfortable self catering stay is provided, including plentiful soft fluffy towels and bath robes.
