Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe location of the property, for many senior citizens like us, will find it too far to walk to the center and back It is for this reason we will not stay here again. We witnessed an older couple like us, laboring to get back with groceries. Younger people could do great here
The Hapimag was charming, comfortable and finely detailed. The bed was comfortable and the lovely living room was a great bonus.

United KingdomWe had booked an apartment with a sofa bed but they told us there wasn’t one available. Had to sleep on a pull-down single bed which wasn’t ideal although it was comfortable with top quality bedding. Unfortunately when I rolled over in the night I cracked my head on the corner of the unit which stores the bed.
Fabulous apartment, very stylish. High-end accommodation, we had access to a courtyard which got the sun in the afternoon.

United StatesEven though they only charged 52 pence for a nespresso coffee pod it would have been nice to have them in the room for early morning coffee.
The location was perfect. A short 10 to 15 minute walk to all the tourist sites. The rooms are fantastic, huge ceilings, large beds, nice sitting area, great bathrooms. The staff downstairs was very helpful with suggestions for food, tour attractions and non touristy points of interest. The hotel is located on a quiet, safe ,beautiful street. The views from the room were incredible.

Excellent large room with high ceilings. We had a nice view out of the front of the hotel. We were on the 3rd floor and could see the castle in the distance. Great to have a m wave and some cutlery & crockery, we made ourselves breakfast of porridge :-) The honesty bar was great too - with decent prices. Excellent facilities all round

United KingdomBeautiful room with a brilliant view, overlooking Dean's Village. The staff were very accommodating and gave some good recommendations. We stayed over Easter and the staff left us a card and a chocolate egg! The bed was very comfy, the shower was great - high water pressure. It was very easy to walk into town and we had a brilliant time in Edinburgh.
