We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomThe room door was not secure. There were no toiletries whatsoever. The shower went cold mid flow at one point for at least a minute and the temperature was difficult to adjust. The present owners have only been in the property for 6 months and are in the process of rectifying issues, windows have recently been replaced and the room doors are due to be replaced shortly. It is an old building with wonky floors that has not been updated to the highest standards in the past. I would be interested to see how far the present refurbishment goes.

United KingdomNo complaints. No soap in the bathroom, probably just an oversight. I often 'borrow' a complementary bar of soap from stays in other hotels. I had a couple in my soapbox, no problem.
We were in Garstang for an overnight stay and just needed a comfortable bed, which is what we had. For the price, we could not have high expectations but no complaints from us.

United KingdomThe room was very bare bones. Functional, but literally just 2 beds and bedside tables, and a side table with tea and coffee etc in plastic tupperwares. No chairs, no desk. Could hear noise from the pub quite late into the night.
Staff were polite and helpful. They have their own parking area off street. Room and bathroom were clean. Big room with high ceilings. They accept check ins until 11pm, so good for a late booking. Right on the high street.
