Hotel was dirty, and very tatty at the front The outdoor bar area was overgrown and needed attention which was a shame as beautiful location. Bedroom windows very close to members of public walking by. I especially did not appreciate the high charge for my 2 tiny dogs and the way the receptionist argued that all the hotels around there charge that amount. I pointed out that the Pike and Eel that is close by do not and she said she would check that, clearly not believing me! The bar was overpriced to for the look and comfort

Hotel looks to be going through renovations, looks unfinished, but also the parts that still need updating are in need of a clean. The hotel appears understaffed but they are doing their best to keep everyone happy

Location is superb. St Ives is a beautiful historic town. The hotel has potential to be great

Was in room 9. This was by a main road. With the window open it can be quite noisy. No water in the room.

Still a building site.no restaurant. Bar was scruffy . Corridors and hallways scruffy ,dark gray paint ,so dark and dismal.Room however was clean and tidy .

Staff were brilliant.super friendly and very helpful and polite.Hotel position is lovely.

The outside area of the hotel looked run down and neglected, lots of weeds everywhere, needed a bit of tlc Breakfast finished at 9am, far too early!! not everyone wants to get up so early while they are on holiday

I think rooms allocated to those with dogs are not as nice as others. Ours faced scaffolding when I'm sure the hotel was not full. Room was fine but given the location i'm sure we could have had a better view. It felt as if transition was happening at the hotel, so wasn't quite finished. Breakfast had most things you'd want but the hot food was not quite hot. However we were late risers, so might not have been like this for others. Breakfast time finished too early. Think it was here that you had to get out of bed to turn off your bedside lamp.

Great staff, room as you'd expect and bed comfy. The hotel welcomes dogs. Location fantastic.

The windows were not double glazed and so we could hear people talking in the street below our room We could hear the tv from an adjoining room The breakfast was disappointing. Hard bacon , steamed hash browns. Poor quality sausages , poor choice of coffee .

Could not fill kettle in room because did not fit under basin tap. Could only fill using the cups. Breakfast was sought of ok. Product was slow to be replenished - had to wait for 10 minutes for bacon. External areas to property look tired. Overall did not think £149.00 price was justified.

Beautiful just wish we could have stayed all night but my husband who is disabled couldn’t settle so we left at 12am to drive home I would like to thank the lovely staff & man who helped my husband in his wheelchair to sit by the river

some of the staff were on their very first shift, so as you would expect a bit of training lacking. But all good natured friendly staff.

ok hotel and a good price, Nice patio overlooking the river. very convenient for St Ives as its just over the bridge. they are clearly working to get the hotel up to a good standard so there was some renovation work going on but it didnt disturb us. room I had was a good standard
