The location is perfect - 5 mins from the train station. The stuff is really helpful, the room is awesome (we booked the family one), and Dunbar is a great place to visit!

    I genuinely wouldn’t change a thing

The location is fantastic; a stones throw from the train station (important to me as a lone female who would be returning late to the accommodation), the beach, harbours and town centre. The staff were very warm and welcoming, Tom (sorry if I’m wrong!) was there to check me in and show me round and I had a lovely chat with Abby in the morning at breakfast who recommended some local walking routes. The minute you walk in it is clear that this place is cared for, it is immaculate without being fussy or ‘stiff’ - it has a fantastic energy. I had the en-suite room and it was wonderful; effortlessly simple with everything I needed (including a huge shower!). There is a well-equipped kitchen area (again, spotless) and toast, cereal, tea and coffee are available in the cute dining room for breakfast. There is access to board games and books and the decoration of the whole place is effortlessly cool (room numbers are denoted by a numbered pool ball outside the room, there are loads of stickers in the stairwell which you get caught up in studying and there’s a vinyl record player in the dining room) and it is fantastic value for money. I would return in a heartbeat, thank you for having me :)

The value for money was exceptional. By far the best Hostel I’ve stayed in. The hostel has secure bike sheds and the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. My single room had a sea view and the washing facilities were spotless.

Places to eat nearby and small supermarkets. Lovely shared, well equipped kitchen. Self serve breakfast in the dining room. Tea and coffee all day, milk, butter in the fridge. Parking was quite tricky-nearby streets were very busy and I had to walk a bit to get a decent parking space

Very clean-although basic it had exactly what I needed for a 1 night stay!
