There was cereals and milk provided which was great, but if you like a bigger breakfast you might want to bring extras of your own

The bed was amazing! We slept so well. Trish was a lovely host and dropped us to the station when we couldn't get a taxi.

I did struggle with it being so close to the road, sleep wise but that’s all. Just some headphones and I was sorted

It was probably the most stunning place I’ve ever stayed. The decor was beautiful, lots of room, all the facilities and incredibly lovely owners.

The location was great for our needs. It’s very close to a wonderful sculpture park. It has lots of walks in the countryside. It’s opposite a pub where you can get a meal if you don’t want to cook. However this cute cottage is set up for great self catering if you need it. Trish, the host, was very pleasant and helpful. We would love to make a return visit.

Everything! The bed was super comfy. The kitchen was very well equipped - it had everything I needed for my stay. There is a lovely seating area which is undercover so can enjoy it even if raining. Trish left milk, juice, a selection of tea's & coffee's. What's not to like :-)

Unfortunately and through no fault of the proprietor there was diverted traffic on the road in front of the accommodation which was very busy all night.

The accommodation was beautifully appointed with attention to detail.

The Devil's Cradle was excellent! Such a well appointed and thought-out place to spend 2 very relaxing nights with my good friend. Everything we needed was there, including some breakfast cereals, milk, orange juice and tea bags. The quality of the building and renovation work (it was a former farm shop) is excellent and makes just arriving and looking around a pleasure. Just across the street is The Sculpture Park, with a 2 mile trail through fantastic outdoor exhibits, with woodland and lake scenery. I would highly recommend this great place. Thank you Trish (a lovely host, with great, yet non-intrusive communication) for our fabulous and relaxing time in your lovely place.

Minor thing and didn’t really bother me but at certain times of day the traffic can be a bit noisy. I think it may have been busier than usual because of a road closure nearby though.

Beautifully furnished, extremely cosy, very comfortable, everything you could need. Great value for money and we felt very relaxed there. The whole place was lovely and clean and the host was very friendly and helpful. Very cute little porch area where it was lovely to sit and have a cup of tea! The area is beautiful too-sweet villagey areas with lots of woodland and some good pubs nearby.

The property was delightful. Exceptionally clean and comfortable, with a very well equipped kitchen and lots of lovely thoughtful things throughout, like scented candles, bathrobes, good variety of teas and coffee, to name but a few things. It was lovely sitting outside on the sofa on the sun, very relaxing.
