Historic inn in the middle of town with parking. The room was a bit dated but clean and with good facilities. Lovely beer garden and good food. Breakfast menu was excellent and the staff were very pleasant. Good value and would definitely stay again.

The only issues we had was that the room was a little dusty, and also that having the window open in our room meant smoke wafted up from the outside seating area of the pub at times. I don't know what they could do about this though, really.

Breakfast was nice, lots of choice the first morning. Second morning slightly less so but still good. The room and bed was comfortable, great pillows, and the towels lovely, decent sized and fluffy. The staff were really friendly and helpful.

Charming Inn with large bright rooms. Great place to stay with family. The breakfast was outstanding. In addition to the normal toast and cereals, they provided freshly made, hot food to order. We had the full english breakfast and egg benny, both were delicious.

The Cromwell Arms is in the middle of the pretty village of Bovey Tracey. It has its own parking lot, free for guests. The room was pleasant and clean, with attention to detail to feel welcome. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic. Cooked breakfast was made to order, our Eggs Benedict was perfect. Staff was helpful and courteous.

Coming home, could have stayed longer!!

The room we had was spacious in comparison to some we've stayed in! There was good sized wardrobe, 12 drawers and 2 chairs (usually there's one chair). Lunchtime and evening meals were good, with a variety of choices. All the staff were friendly and polite and helped make our stay even more memorable! The Cromwell Inn is ideally situated in the town. A 10 minute walk takes you to the beautiful and spacious park. There is a great children's playing area where parents can picnic whilst the children are playing. There is an abundance of trees, which offer plenty of shade. The dogs seemed to love it as they can run free and play in the little river. Continue walking through the park and you'll come to Dartmoor forest where there are plenty of walks. We'll definitely be visiting again!

Feedback rather than complaints as none of this would stop us going back. The beds in the twin room are a bit tired, still functioning but repaired with brackets that aren't pretty. The hedge is starting to grow through the window, not a problem but it needs trimming back. Finally the bathroom has a glazed window, while this is frosted glass it does remain quite see through and a privacy blind on the door would be good.

Brilliant stay, the staff were amazing. Very friendly and knowledgeable and made us feel incredibly welcome. Breakfast selection was good and the cooked breakfasts were delicious, had Eggs Benedict on the first morning and scrambled eggs the following. The evening meal was also amazing with a good selection including several vegan options. Parking is tight when the restaurant is busy but there's parking out the front too so no drama. The room itself was clean and well appointed, a nice selection of toiletries and big fluffy towels (that my daughter loved). Both beds are very comfortable and the linen was fresh and clean. All in all a lovely stay, I'm sure we'll be back.
