We stayed here following a visit to the Weald and Download Museum and what a great choice. The room was clean and comfortable with everything needed. The food, both evening meal and breakfast was excellent and all the staff were attentive and friendly. We would certainly stay again when in the area.

The shower was small and the base was slippery, could have done with non slip base. Being upstairs in roof meant being careful of slanting ceiling and querky door going into bathroom.

Charming country pub with beautiful garden to relax in. Newly developed room upstairs in an old stone building was fresh and clean. Super welcoming and friendly hosts. Personalised breakfast.

This was the BEST Bed and Breakfast place we have stayed in. The room was outstanding, even having Earl Grey Tea . The evening meal in the pub was excellent. The breakfast was very good. Outstanding staff, very friendly and helpful. We really go back to a place twice but in this case we will make an exception. Go and see for your self why.

Would have liked a blind in the bathroom for added privacy.

The room was beautifully presented, clean and comfortable. The owners had really thought about making guests welcome and at home. There was tea and coffee in the room together with a fridge with fresh milk and fruit and cereals if you were hungry before breakfast time. Bed linen and towels were nice. The cooked breakfast was any combination of a full English with tea, coffee and juice. Excellent value for money. Would definitely stay again.

The shower was very difficult to turn off and the pressure and temperature were variable.

A beautiful area and the pub is set back from the road and has a lovely garden. The breakfast was excellent.

The shower control was a bit tight to operate. We had problems getting a taxi back to the Cricketers after the event.

The room was comfortable, stylish and there were extras such as fresh milk, fruit and cereal that made us feel very welcome . A delicious breakfast was served in the beautiful garden, a lovely way to start the day.

We stayed at The Cricketers Arms as we were attending a wedding at Upwaltham Barns. It was only 5mins drive away from the venue which was perfect. The staff at the pub were very helpful and kindly let us check in early due to us attending the wedding all day. Comfy room with a king size bed and a pleasant stay. It was lovely to be provided with cold water in the fridge, some cereal and hot drink station available for us in the room. Thank you!

Leaving, would have loved to have stayed another night

The b&b is in a lovely little quaint building separate from the main pub, Exceptionally clean and comfortable. With a range of teas and fresh milk. An amazing amount of storage, was just my friend & me. But we don't normally have enough room (both find it impossible to travel light) Breakfast was freshly cooked with a choice of traditional/vegetarian full English, or variations. We had poached egg on toast with bacon side and a bacon sandwich with tea and fresh orange juice plus iced water on the table. Parking is almost outside room. Staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful.

Vegetarian breakfast was really great and set us up for the day. The room was clean and comfortable. The garden was lovely and peaceful, perfect for a glass of wine. The food in the evening was excellent. The staff were great.
