Nothing not to like.

Absolutely wonderful hotel to stay. Such a relaxing stay with very relaxed attentive staff. Bar, although not big, is really comfortable. Staying on my own for the first night, I felt right at home. Our room was above outside the tabled area, which had lots of students and visitors but come 11 p.m. you'd never know you were in the middle of the town. The food was really tasty, too.

We had very tasty breakfasts, with a good variety of food, that kept us going throughout each day. The room and bed were comfortable, and the view out of our window brought back memories of Outlander. While the hotel didn't have its own parking there was sufficient parking in nearby streets.

The shower tray was poor. Water over floor when showering. Could do with an extractor fan in bathroom too. Our room, the Cameron, was noisy from music but we slept well

Dogs in the Bar that are NOT checked by their owners its ok to have them however NOT unsupervised especially when people are trying to have their Dinner...

The dining room is not such an attractive place to eat as the bar which is small - but the food was really excellent

Slight issue with the apartment which was ridiculously hot but resolved by helpful staff and we had a pleasant stay in the main part of the hotel , where the room was a pleasant temperature and delightful

We could hear the music (not super loud) from the bar and restaurant down stairs but it closed around 10 so we were able to sleep.

The Covenanter Hotel is so quaint and right in the center of town. We stayed in the Queen room and it was super clean and seemed newly updated as the bathroom was fairly new. We were right across from the Falkland Palace and there are a few places to get breakfast and lunch near by. We also had a great dinner and breakfast at the hotel.

Gorgeous hotel for a gorgeous little town Im a Outlander fan so we loved the hotel & our room was decked out with all Outlander memorabilia It was fantastic definitely worth the money! The food was amazing & staff were lovely I would stay again if we lived in Scotland

There was nothing to not like.

Centre of Town, great restaurant downstairs, amazing breakfast with loads of choices. The James room was very spacious and clean. Staff were lovely. Quick walk to Maspie Den trail. Wish we stayed 2 nights! Nice to see the Town at the end of the day without all the quick stop tour buses.

Whoever thought of putting speakers in the restaurant ceiling, which is also the bedroom floors ... was an idiot. The restaurant closes at 8.00pm ... the God awful playlist didn't. I didn't pay £159 a night to sit in my room listening to an empty room bang out mindless modern pop for the next 2.5 hours. That said ... I was sat in an exceptionally lovely room. Would we return? Absolutely!!

Almost everything, the location, the venue, the ambience, the locals and the food were delightful. Witnessing me at my finest discussing the potholes of life with the Village Inebriant was a moment of beauty.

Large clean room, friendly and helpful staff, lovely cooked breakfast, and it even had Netflix. As Outlander fans we we're so chuffed to stay here and it was amazing. There is a free overnight stay car park 3 minute walk away, i would recommend this hotel 👌

Music too loud ! Bar closed at 10 but load music till 11 pm .

Outlander History We got the Bruce Room which gave us a perfect view of the monument Clare first saw Jamie . Beautiful hotel staff very polite and helpful.
