Large room (McDonald suite) perfect for families, nice touches with bottled water and teacakes. Friendly and welcoming staff, food in the bistro was great and the atmosphere in the bar was excellent. Dog friendly which was a bonus!

The restaurant is right under the stay floors so expect some noise... As it is an old building dont expect it to be sound proof. Bathroom fan could be bit quiter.

Our room was at the very top of the property and quite snug so a bit hot.

Very nice and spacy room (we had the double-bed room with an extra single bed), with a very clean bathroom. On the top of the very friendly welcome, the food is way above average and the pub so good looking! We had an excellent stay. Besides, the surroundings are GREAT to visit!

We stayed one night in the triple room and had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. Food was excellent, staff friendly and helpful and the bar had a great selection too. Even better, they are dog friendly!

The mattress on our bed was a bit soft, apart from that it was great.

The Courie is just lovely! Fab place, location, food , immaculately clean and the staff especially made the place. They were amazingly friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. They were so understanding when we had a little issue and couldn’t have been nicer.

Everything was good. The only thing I could mention is that the pillows were a little bit on the hard side and it was quite hot but it had been warm during the day and the room is on top floor. When renovating in future I would suggest more electrical sockets in the room as well as a new tap where you can mix hot and cold water and not two separate ones.

Perfect location in killin. Very homey feeling. Felt very welcome. We had de smallest room but it was really cute. Coffee station and water bottles as well as a little treat when we arrived. Breakfast cooked after ordering the night before. Great place for hikes around Killin. We ate at the restaurant and had the best meal during our trip (and we have eaten in quite fancy restaurants during our trip). The lamb is a must as well as salmon pate.

Great breakfast, cooked to perfection and evening meal on day 2 was equally as good. Room was a good size and bed comfortable , shower also very good . Staff very friendly

The staff were very friendly, the room had everything we needed even bottled water and tea cakes. We are in the bistro in the evening,food was excellent. The breakfast was cooked to order,filled in a sheet the night before with whatever we wanted. Very tasty. Would definitely stay here if in the area again. Would highly recommend.

Our room was just a wee bit on the small side but we were only sleeping in it.

We loved how dog friendly it was. Daz and Zak had a great time. Staff spoil them. Leanne, Lynne and Michael are amazing people and make you feel so welcome.

Location in the village is great and you are central for walks (dogs or not) and other facilities like shops. The restaurant and bar are excellent and provide lovely food.
