Someone who stayed in our room before us loved biscuits. They even left some for us in the sofa and under the drawer.

The staff was super welcoming! We had a wonderful meal and drinks in the pub downstairs. We stayed there on a Friday night, and it wasn't noisy at all. We had great sleep!

Public areas not always clean, but it wouldn't put me off staying there again.

Great stay - cosy beds, great food, clean rooms, and good facilities.

The shower took some time to work but once the water arrived, it was fine. There is some mould on the shelf over the sink.

The staff were really helpful and friendly. The breakfast was really great - tasty and beautifully presented. The location in the countryside was lovely - nice walks on the doorstep.

    Everything was to our liking.

What a gorgeous Inn! Loved this place...we stayed for 1 night, a family of 3. Inn & restaurant were connected to a convenient outdoor car park. We had a spacious room for 3 with an extra sofa bed, comfortable beds and pillows and all amenities provided for. Buffet breakfast offered a good variety and was delicious. The coffee, tea and biscuits in the room were very much appreciated. We enjoyed the mid-week carvery station for dinner and the deserts were great. Staff were very friendly.

I loved everything about this charming property. Our family room was beautifully decorated and clean and comfortable, with the 2 single beds separated off by a door for privacy. The downstairs pub was a great atmosphere and the food was exceptional. I didn’t notice any noise coming from downstairs up to the room. Our room looked over to a pleasant leafy garden.

My only gripe would be the short bed. But that's happened in other places, so you know, that pales in comparison.

Fantastic Inn only a bus ride away to Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door. Lovely room overlooking big pub gardens and sunshine. Excellent tea and coffee offerings (who knew coffee bags were a thing!), power shower and overall comfortable country decor. Staff were friendly and incredibly helpful - Justin, Ash and their colleagues (including the cheery cleaning crew) are a credit - and the actual pub is big, full of character with plenty of tables to eat, drink and be merry around super-friendly locals. The breakfast was excellent. Great farm meats and perfectly cooked eggs complimented the warm welcome and serene morning atmosphere. Perfect prep for our 6hr walk to Weymouth....

the welcome we received was exceptional; the room was so comfortable, usually a twin room is the tiny remnant but this was really well presented and spacious; the food was absolutely delicious, so much so we stopped on way back from festival to have lunch there. They were accomodating and we will definetely come again

Was problem with getting taxi in beginning Taxi was busy with transporting school children - and tankfest. But staff managed to get a taxi - which we afterwards used every day for 5 days. Reliable taxi driver, But may be somewhat expencive. Not good bus communication with Wool.

Good food. Breakfast was exelent. Nice aerea for walking. Old style furniture and shower. But interessting. Friendly staff. Interessting. Little town Warham we found nice.

    leaving!

was returning to the area with my family from australia as I used to live in Winfrith as a kid and worked in The Countryman when I was 18. It was so nice to show my kids and family the area and good to see The Countryman has kept it's authenticity of a Dorset pub while also growing the beer garden and the ability to have rooms on site is awesome. Great pub.
